here you go!

and please remember i love you all!!! D:

Rebecca panicked, instantly knowing who it would be – the only other Fitch twin with any logical reason to come round here. The twin who’s calls and texts she had been blanking for the past 3 hours. Rebecca shot up out of her seat and ran up the stairs as quick as she could, leaving Gina, Vera and Charlotte sitting in confusion.
As Rebecca opened the door quickly, she saw Katie standing there, arms folded and phone in hand. Rebecca scowled as she shut the door behind her.
“What the fuck are you doing here, Katie?” she hissed quietly. Katie looked a bit stunned.
“Why have you been blanking me?! I’ve only been gone three fucking hours and already we’ve managed to get angry with each other!” she retorded.
“Three fucking hours, yeah. I bet they were.” Rebecca said abruptly. Katie looked at her confused.
“Would you like to explain to me what the fuck you are pissed off about?” Katie said, her temper beginning to crack.
“You!” she shouted, unintentionally. “I heard you on the phone behind the door! I was coming up the stairs earlier and I heard you on the phone, probably to that lame waster footballer that I saw at Pandora’s party!”
Katie stood in silence. “Rebecca-“
“Just fuck off, Katie.”
“No, I’m going to say my piece!”
“Not with me listening .” Rebecca said and walked out. Katie bit her lip in fury and followed her outside of the room and downstairs into the hall – which was a big mistake.
“Rebecca, what the –“ Gina said, as she began to walk toward the living room door. She stopped in the doorway as she saw her niece and a Fitch arguing in the middle of the hallway. It was almost too hard to believe.
“So did you shag him then, Katie?!” Rebecca said, as both hers and Katie’s tempers spiralled out of control. “Was it worth it?!”
“I didn’t fucking shag him!” Katie shouted back, “I came back here to tell you that I dumped him because YOU were the one I want! Now I’m not so fucking sure!”
“Oh, that’s great!” Rebecca was yelling. “So you just fancied a quick whirl with THAT once more just to establish!?”
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!” Gina interrupted, shouting at the top of her lungs. She could just hear over the yelling and commotion that was going on, the doorbell ringing.
“Who the fuck is that?!” she shouted, as she shook her head with shock and went to the door, opening it to find the nervous faces of another Fitch, a Campbell, and the Fitch who was the sole cause of all the fighting.
“What…” Gina began, but was cut off by Emily shouting at Katie and Rebecca to shut up. Katie, Rebecca, Charlotte and Vera all saw who was at the door, and decided to take their problems aside into the kitchen as Jenna, Naomi and Emily all walked in. Gina stood, absolutely stunned.
Was this really happening?!
Jenna, Emily, Naomi and Gina were all stood awkwardly in the living room. Gina was seething to have Jenna standing in her house, after everything that had happened, after everything she had done to her, to her family’s future. Emily and Naomi stood close next to each other, holding hands subtly behind their backs. Gina stood and looked at Jenna, who was sitting down nervously on the sofa.
“What are you doing here, Jenna?” she said bitterly. Jenna nodded at Emily, who led Naomi out of the room so they could talk properly.
“Gina…” Jenna said, painfully. “I never got the chance to tell you how sorry I was about what happened. What I did, what messed you up so much. And I understand that a simple apology is not going to make the years of resentment and hardship go away – but this is our problem, not the girls. We shouldn’t be taking it out on them.”
“I’m not taking it out on anyone.” Gina said bluntly.
Jenna looked over at her coldly.
“Oh really? So why have you kicked out your own daughter for being in love with one of mine then, hm? Because I know you wouldn’t mind if Naomi was just gay.”
“You don’t know anything about me, Jenna.”
“I know everything about you Gina, and that’s what drives you insane. That I knew everything about you and I still fucked you over. Sometimes I can’t sleep at night, thinking about this. Thinking about the hell I have caused you. And the girls.”
Gina remained stood still, her face looking as though it were made of stone. Jenna could see that her words were clearly getting her nowhere, so she decided one last attempt.
“Have as many problems as you like with me Gina, but you leave the girls to themselves. If they want to be with each other you can’t stop them. I am sorry for what I did to you, but you need to see that your problem is with me and not with my daughters. And if you take anything out on them because of something that was my fault, not theirs, I will make you so sorry. Mark my words.”
And with that final last looming threat, Jenna brushed by Gina as she walked out of the door. Gina felt the door slam behind her, and closed her eyes as she felt reality smack her in the face.

“I’m sorry.”
Katie and Rebecca had moved their argument outside into the garden, as Charlotte, Vera, Naomi and Emily sat round the kitchen table inside waiting anxiously. Katie was sitting on the wall having a fag and absent mindedly looking at the sky. Rebecca sat on the patio steps, near to Katie but not close enough. Katie shook her head.
“I know why you were annoyed. Bit ridiculous how we handled it though.”
Rebecca laughed briefly. “Yeah.”
There was a clear, calm silence between them, as they let the sun soak into their skin. Rebecca turned to Katie, looked away, and then turned back to her.
“So…did you really not shag him?”
“Of course I fucking didn’t. I don’t know why I called him, I guess it was to make sure if I was straight or gay or whatever the other fucking options are.”
“And what are you?”
Katie paused, thinking. “Well, I think I’m straight, but I can’t resist you for some reason. Sounds so fucking cheesy, but it’s true. I think you Campbells just fuck up the Fitch hormones.”
Rebecca smiled smugly as they both stood up, Katie taking Rebecca’s hand. “I suppose.”
They turned to walk into the kitchen, letting go of their hands as they did. Katie sat next to Naomi, weirdly, and Rebecca next to Emily, who were waiting tensely for any sign of a reply. It had gone quiet in the hallway now, and they had heard the door slam. So…what now?
“Do you think she’s okay?” Emily asked, nervously. Naomi looked up from her worried gaze at the table.
“Who?”
“Well, either of them really.”
Naomi shrugged. “Dunno.”
“Yeah that reminds me, what the fuck has been going on?” Katie piped up, as she came to the realization she actually had no idea why they were all sat in a sombre silence with their two mothers outside. Naomi giggled a bit at Katie’s stupidity as did her cousins, Emily smirking a little at hearing Naomi’s ‘cute’ laugh.
“Well, we told mum earlier. About us.” Emily said. Katie’s expression went to a oh-my-god face, as she scoffed.
“No WAY! You told mum?! How the fuck did she take it?!”
“She took it brilliantly, actually. I mean at first she thought we were joking, but then Naomi told her she’d got kicked out of her house for loving me and she like…was compassionate. For once.”
There was a chorus of awws from everyone on the table, Emily giggling as she watched Naomi go red and try and hide her face. Charlotte ruffled Naomi’s hair, who later slapped her hand fiercly away from her head. Just as people were beginning to relax, the door opened, and a rather stunned Gina walked in, leaning back on the door as she closed it. All eyes were transfixed on her, the only sounds being the bird chirping irritatingly outside.
“Naomi, Emily…we need to talk.”
This whole day had been awkward from start to finish. Everything about the situation had been awkward, but Naomi and Emily still believed their love to be perfect. Perfect and clarified between both of them, despite other people’s previous or current thoughts about their relationship. It didn’t matter what Gina’s final resolution would be. As long as they had each other.
Naomi and Emily sat back in the living room, hands fiercely clasped and fingers entwined with one another’s. Naomi felt anxious butterflies flitter all around inside her stomach, wearing a worried expression to match her emotion. Emily’s face softened as she flickered her eyes to glance at Naomi. She gave her girlfriend’s hand a quick, reassuring squeeze, as Gina walked slowly into the living room, closing the door behind her. It was like a terrible cliché from a bad movie.
Gina let out a lengthy sigh.
“So…I’ve been talking to Jenna today. About you two, and about our problems.”
There was a brief five-second pause, which seemed to last a lifetime to both the girls.
“And…she’s made me realize that this feud that we’re living through our families has to end.”
Naomi and Emily’s eyes lit up. The very words they had been waiting to hear finally arrived in their ears – no fighting, no more drama, no more ridiculous family feuding over something that happened before their existence.
“Mum, do you mean it?” Naomi said gleefully, but hesitantly and biting her lip, almost uncertain of her mother’s seriousness. Gina nodded solemnly, and rested her head on her hands, looking lovingly at Naomi.
“I can’t lose my own daughter over the love you have for somebody who happens to be related to the woman I despise. I’m sorry I overreacted so much – I never meant to hurt you.”
Naomi shot up out of her seat, flinging her arms around her mother, which was something she never did. A tear fell down Emily’s cheek, but out of happiness. Emily let out a huge smile as she brushed it away, watching Naomi and Gina hug. Finally, something was beginning to work out.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, Katie, Rebecca and Vera had all moved themselves outside into the sunshine of the garden. Rays were beating down on their worried faces, eager to hear any sort of feedback from Gina, Naomi or Emily. Charlotte and Vera swung absent-mindedly on the garden chair under the shade. Katie paced up and down the patio biting her nails and Rebecca sat on the wall, flipping a coin to herself.
“They must be done by now!” Katie exclaimed, making all of them jump at the shrillness of her voice. Rebecca sighed.
“Maybe. Maybe it’s not good news, though.”
“Don’t say that you bellend. Of course it’s going to be good news.”
Rebecca let out a short giggle at the word ‘bellend’ before going back to flipping a coin. Charlotte hopped off the chair, Vera deep in thought and hypnotized by the relaxing motion of the chair swinging. The temperature outside was ridiculously hot, not a cloud in the sky. All of the colours of the garden had seemed to be insensified. Maybe it was due to the height of the emotion and adrenaline in everyone’s bodies, maybe it was the sun. Maybe good news had come and finally everyone’s eyes had opened to the world.
Suddenly, they heard a patter of feet running down the hall and out into the garden, Naomi and Emily with big beaming smiles plastered on their faces. Katie, Rebecca, Charlotte and Vera stood up, mouths agape, waiting for clarification that they had received good news. Gina stepped out onto the patio, folding her arms and smiling, resting on the glass door behind them.
“Well?” Katie asked briskly.
“Looks like we get our happy ending after all.” Emily said proudly.

BIG HUGE ENTRY OMG
building up da drama!!!
enjoy :D

Emily and Naomi lay together, wrapped up in Emily’s bed under the duvet waiting for the sound of the front door to go, anxiously. They wanted Emily’s mum to come home now – it was time to tell her. It was time to come clean about everything, no more lies, no more secrets. No more sneaking out in the middle of the night and no more fighting going on. It was time to set the record straight (so to speak).
“Emily…” Naomi said, breaking the silence as she tucked a bit of hair behind Emily’s ear. Emily opened her eyes and looked up from their silent embrace.
“Mm?”
“You know, I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually quite scared.”
Emily smiled and kissed Naomi on the nose. “I know, so am I. But Naomi, we’ve managed to built the perfect relationship from our circumstances. We managed to get through it, even when you were scared of being close to someone. We can still make it work, even if my mum isn’t best pleased..”
Naomi laughed nervously.
"Oh god, I wish she’d come home. I just want to get it over with. I want to enjoy this summer properly for a fucking change.”
As the word change left Naomi’s lips, the front door opened and slammed. Emily and Naomi’s eyes were instantly connected, adrenaline rushing through them. Emily gave Naomi’s hand a squeeze.
“Ready?”
Naomi took a deep breath. “As I’ll ever be.”
They jumped up from under the duvet, adjusted their clothes to look neater and both walked out of the door. The walk downstairs seemed to take forever, but it was going to be worth it. They stopped outside the kitchen, where the door was slightly ajar. Emily and Naomi took one final glance at each other, before Emily pushed the door open.
“Mum?”
Jenna looked up a little startled from reading the magazine she’d picked up at the airport. “Yes, sweetheart?”
“I’ve…” Emily stopped for a second, as she looked at her mothers face.
“I’ve got something to tell you.”
Jenna looked slightly confused. “What is it, darling?”
Emily turned round signalling for Naomi to come in. Jenna stood up in shock as Naomi entered the room, braced for a bad reaction.
“Me and Naomi - well...I don't know if you'll believe me but...I love her. I'm in love with her.”
Jenna laughed with exasperation and disbelief. “Is this a joke, Emily? Because right now, I don’t think my day could get much worse!”
“No mum, it’s not a joke.” Emily said defiantly, her and Naomi standing side by side. “Naomi might be a Campbell, but whatever happened between you and her mum, is your business. You shouldn’t be making your children take sides.”
Jenna sat back down, absolutely flabbergasted. Not only was her daughter in love with a girl, it was a Campbell. The offspring of the woman who hated her the most in the world because of a bad deed she did.
“Emily, are you joking? Seriously?
“She’s not joking, Mrs Fitch.” Naomi chipped in, Emily a bit shocked at Naomi’s daring input. “I really do love your daughter. She means the world to me, and this isn’t just a cheap fling, either. We’ve been trying to get a relationship going for months, but I’ve always been scared and ran away because I was scared of being close to somebody. Now I’m not.”
Jenna sighed, sadly.
“Naomi...Emily…if this isn’t a joke, and I’m not 100% convinced it isn’t…I’m extremely shocked but for one thing, I could never allow it because of my history with your mother, Naomi, but also because of your dad, Emily. What on earth is he going to think?”
“I don’t care what dad thinks, mum,” Emily said defiantly. It was quite obvious her mother wasn’t going mental about the idea, it was just that having a gay daughter in love with a daughter of the woman she hated would ruin her appearance.
“Mum, whether you allow it or not, it’s going to happen. Naomi got kicked out this morning because she told Gina about me.”
“What?” Jenna said, outraged. “Why?!”
“Because Emily’s a Fitch." she said bluntly. "And if I'm honest, I’m surprised you haven’t done the same to me, Mrs Fitch.” Naomi said sadly. Jenna bit her lip, as she thought it all through in her head. Emily looked with keen eyes towards her mother, as did Naomi. Then Jenna did the unthinkable.
She got up, and hugged Naomi.
Hugged Naomi.
Emily let out a cry of happiness as she clasped her hands together, Naomi hugging Jenna back. Jenna put a hand on Naomi’s shoulder.
“Even after all the business with your mother, you still came in here to tell me your love for my daughter, and I think that’s one of the bravest acts you could have done. Not only did you come in here, you also told your mother and lost your home for it. So I’m going to sort it out.”
Emily and Naomi looked at each other, genuinely and totally shocked, as Jenna stood upright.
“Mum… are you joking?” Emily exclaimed with a nervous delight. Naomi looked pleadingly at Jenna, as Jenna took in a deep breath.
“No. But you better take me round there now, before I change my mind.”

Meanwhile, back at the Campbell household, Gina was losing her mind. Charlotte, Vera and Rebecca were seated awkwardly on the sofa, looking nervously at one another as Gina paced up and down angrily in the living room in front of them, exclaiming all sorts to herself in hand movements and murmurings. She stopped at an abrupt halt, and turned round to face them.
“You lot better not be having anything to do with the Fitches.” She said sternly, but you could tell the pain in her voice. “And, if you are, tell me now.”
Rebecca felt a twinge of guilt.
“But Gina, why would any of us ever tell you when you’ve just kicked out your own daughter?!”
Gina sighed and put a hand over her eyes, trying to stop herself from crying. “The stupid thing is, I didn’t do it because I was angry. I did it because I am scared that Emily or whatever her name is is going to fuck her over like Jenna did for me, and me and Jenna were only friends! GOD knows what is going to happen with Naomi and Emily!” she exclaimed painfully, Charlotte taking a deep breath and thinking before she spoke.
“Mum…” she said slowly. “Emily is not the same as Jenna, you know. We’ve all met her and she was really nice.”
The girls all nodded, Gina standing in disbelief at the disregarded betrayal by her family members.
“Not too keen on her sister, though.” Rebecca added sharply, and the other two nodded. Suddenly, there was a large bang upstairs, in Naomi’s room.
As though somebody had just fallen through the window.

Starcrossed - Chapter 14
[info]mirrors_edge1

hope you enjoy this, guys! i havent had time to proof read - so sorry for any mistakes/bits that dont make sense D: i got pressured! aha.

Emily stood instinctively infront of Naomi, trying to protect her; despite the fact Naomi was a lot stronger and taller than Emily to begin with. Naomi rested her hand on Emily’s shoulder, and moved infront of her. Jade stood up, brushing herself off along with Lauren and Erika.
“So, that’s why you let Campbells get it so easy here? You’re fucking one of them?” Jade said, bitterly. Naomi and Jade locked eyes, both ready to smack one another about if need be. Emily was beginning to panic, and with no Katie here to intervene, it looked like she was going to have to take on the Fitch cousins herself. She took a deep breath, and shoved infront of Naomi subtly, getting in Jade’s face, who was taken aback by this sudden show of courage. Emily ran her hand through her hair in exasperation, Jade waiting impatiently for a reply. Lauren and Erika exchanged confused looks, while Naomi stood awkwardly behind Emily. Emily finally opened her eyes and looked at Jade.
“I need to talk to you. Privately.”
Jade looked at Emily for a brief moment, looking at her anguish. Jade’s bitterness suddenly began to fade as she turned around, nodding for Lauren and Erika to leave the room. They shrugged and walked out, closing the door behind them. Naomi looked at Emily, who held her hand as Naomi backed out of the window slowly, and going to wait in the garden. Jade sat down on Katie’s bed, and Emily sitting on hers.

“Jade…I know you have this mantra about wanting to kill the Campbells. But the truth is, they never did anything to us. They never hurt us, they didn’t even hurt my mum. My mum hurt their mum, by betraying her. By betraying her for us, and it’s a miracle that me and Naomi have ended up the way we have. And I know it’s difficult because she’s not only a girl, but also somebody who is part of a family you hate. But…I love her. I really, really do love her. I’m so in love with her that I can’t be without her, and I’m sorry but I’m not going to let you ruin it for me. I don’t care what you say, I’m staying with Naomi. And I’m going to tell mum that I’m with her soon, too. I want this fighting to end.”

Jade sat in silence, gobsmacked from Emily’s speech. She was right, though; everything that was going on with the war between the Campbells and the Fitches was down to Jenna Fitch, not Gina Campbell. The look on Emily’s face was that of genuine honesty, she wasn’t lying. Naomi Campbell really did mean everything to her – but why? What was it about something being forbidden that made it so attractive? But just as Jade was getting lost in her own philosophical thoughts, she shook her head to snap out of it, let out a breath and looked back up at Emily.
“It’s going to take more than a few wise words to sway me completely, Emily. But I know that you love her, your eyes are saying that more than your voice. And deep down, I know you’re right about all of this; but we’ve been brought up to hate Campbells. Dad and your mum are so close that when they fell out, they fell out with my dad, too. It’s not something I’m just going to ‘get over’.”
“I know.” Emily said, painfully, but reassuringly. “I don’t expect you to just get over it Jade. I just want you to understand my point of view.“
Jade nodded and sighed.
There was a loud beep outside, and Lauren poked her head round the door shyly.
“Um, Jade, we have to go to the airport now…”
Jade rolled her eyes and stood up. “Fine.”
Emily stood up too, looking at Jade in dismay at their interrupted heart to heart, who opened her arms for a hug.
“I hope everything works out for you, Emily.”
“You, too.” Emily said. For now, the Fitch cousins were at peace – Jade would have a heavy influence on Erika and Lauren. Plus, they were leaving, so no more trouble could be caused by them to the Campbell family for now anyway. Emily sighed a big, heavy breath of relief as Jade shut the door behind her. She walked over to the window, and smiled to herself as she saw Naomi nervously pacing up and down the garden patio, biting her nails nervously as she waited for Emily to call her back up.
“Oi, gorgeous, we’ve finished now.” She shouted down, Naomi looking up startled. The look on Emily’s face suggested the result was good, so a smile crept its way across Naomi’s panic-stricken face. Emily beckoned Naomi to come back up the ladder, as she waited on her bed.
Naomi tumbled through the window and onto the bedroom floor, making Emily giggle. Naomi stood up with a blush on her face, and brushing herself down as before. “Shut up. What happened?”
“She’s accepted it, I think. She said it would take more than just a few of the right words to sway her, but she didn’t hit the roof. Though we didn’t have much of a chance to talk properly, my mum’s taking them to the airport now.”
“Why?” Naomi said, shocked.
“Uncle Oscar’s been in a car accident, so they’re flying over to Paris to be with him in the hospital.”
Naomi looked cheekily at Emily. “So…does this mean we’re all on our own?” she said, moving closer to Emily, who wrapped her arms around Naomi’s neck and pecked her twice on the lips.
“For now. But we tell my mum everything when she gets back…okay?”
Naomi looked up at the ceiling in contemplation of Emily’s request, before looking back into her chocolate brown eyes. “Okay.”

“Aw babe, what’s up with you today? You’ve been dead fidgety like.”
Danny and Katie were standing in the Rovers Reserves changing room. It was deserted and after-hours, but still smelled musky and hot. Football kits were hung up everywhere, light shining in through the distorted glass windows. Danny and Katie were in the middle of a heated getting-off session when Katie stopped and rolled her eyes, putting her hands on Danny’s chest. Danny was not pleased with Katie’s unusual lack of horniness, and began to get quite irritated.
“I dunno, this has been fucking crap so far. You would have thought you’d be good with the amount of women you’ve shagged!”
Danny looked gone out. “You whey?!”
Katie sighed and walked over to the other side of the changing room, sitting down and looking up to see Danny with his hands on his hips. The sight of that made Katie get a cheeky smirk on her face as he looked so ridiculously camp, Danny oblivious to the gay signals he was giving off.
“I can’t be bothered, you idiot. I’ve had a better shag than you today. I don’t even know why I called you, you’re still fucking crap in bed, I still stand by what I said in that video. Ultimate realization.”
Danny stood there in shock from his girlfriend’s words that were cutting like a knife. Katie got up, pulled her strappy top on properly and put on her heels, floating out of the door.
“Laters, babe!”
And with that brief encounter, she was gone. Danny stood with the echo of the changing room door slamming in his mind, folding his arms in anger and sighing. He just got dumped by Katie Fitch, for a second time. But this time, it was to his face – and there was nothing he could do about it.

Meanwhile outside, Katie was walking across the football grounds and calling Rebecca. She had realized for herself that she wasn’t gay – she was straight – but there was something about Rebecca she wanted to know more about. Something about her that made Katie want to be with her, as more than a friend. She couldn’t quite explain it, and she didn’t know whether she would find anybody else like Rebecca in the future – but this was now. And right now, all she wanted was Rebecca.
But no matter how much she kept ringing, the phone wasn’t being picked up.
Despite Rebecca sitting next to it and seeing Katie’s name flash up on her screen.

Starcrossed - Chapter 13

big huge update to make up for lost time ;D even though its been like a day. haha.
also the font keeps changing and its annoying me :@

Emily looked past her and saw their suitcases packed and in the hall.
“Wait, what the hell is going on? I didn’t think you were leaving for another 3 weeks?”
“Daddy had a car crash in Paris,” Lauren said, as she was sitting on her suitcase. “We’re waiting for your mum to take us to the airport, we’re flying out and meeting mother later. We have to be with him. I’m sorry.”
Emily tried to conceal the look of satisfaction on her face.
“Oh, I’m so sorry.” She managed to get out. Jenna wiped a tear from her eye as she walked into the kitchen and shut the door behind her.
Erika walked up and hugged Emily.
“I’m sorry we have to leave so early, Em. We were hoping to get a glance of the Campbells’ one more time before we left, at least.”
Emily felt anger surge through her, but kept a straight face. She smiled weakly at the three girls in her hallway before brushing by them and walking upstairs, feeling her phone vibrate beforehand. She knew Naomi was up there.
Naomi dusted herself down, adjusting to the settings of Emily’s cute room. It was like she expected the room to be, two twin beds for two twin girls and two wardrobes of clothes. It was easy to tell which side was which, though; one side had famous and allegedly attractive male filmstars or popstar posters plastered all over the wall, where as on the other side there was posters of girls. All girl posters, infact. Naomi smiled to herself, thinking how typical of Emily this was. Emily pushed the door open slightly, sneaking in and catching the smile on Naomi’s face who tried to hide it quickly. Emily smiled and rolled her eyes.
“Thinking of ME, were you?”
Naomi laughed slightly. “No. I was…thinking of Katie.”
“Don’t even joke about that. I’m so paranoid you’ll fancy her instead one day. And you bloody know it, you cheeky sod.” She said, resting her arms on Naomi’s shoulders. Naomi put her hands on Emily’s hips.
“Oh come on Emily, as if. Not only are you the prettier, sexier, smarter and by far the gayer twin, but have you forgotten that Katie and I hate each other secretly? We only get on when you’re around.”
Emily laughed and whispered. “And I appriciate it.”
“I’m sure you do.” Naomi said smiling, as the two of them shared a sneaky kiss in Emily’s bedroom.

Little did they know, Jade was standing outside, listening to everything they had said, and witnessing Emily’s gayness first hand.

She was incredibly surprised; but not surprised enough to concuct a plan with her siblings. She tiptoed down a couple of stairs, beckoning for the others to come up.
“What is it?” Erika said, Jade pressing her finger to her lip frantically so Erika wouldn’t speak too loud. Lauren clearly got the hint from Jade’s subtle outrage at Erika, as they all tiptoed quietly back up the stairs. Jade had a shocked look on her face, which was rare even for her siblings to see as she seemed so unphased by everything. Erika and Lauren peered in the crack through the door, seeing Naomi and Emily kissing. Naomi and Emily broke away, and Erika, Jade and Lauren all tumbled through the door. Emily and Naomi stood in absolute horror and disbelief. What was happening?!

“Rebecca, what was- WHAT?!”
Charlotte had walked upstairs and into Naomi’s room, where Katie and Rebecca were lying together in bed. Thankfully they were not in the middle of anything, or that would have been incredibly awkward as opposed to just majorly. Rebecca had her eyes half closed, and Katie was asleep next to her. But all Charlotte could see was the same shade of hair colour that Emily had, and Rebecca and the girl lying together in bed. Charlotte was furious.
“What the fuck has happened?!” she shouted loudly, Rebecca bolting up and pulling her top on.
“It’s not who you think!” Rebecca said, quickly gathering the conclusion that Charlotte reached. Charlotte scoffed, still in fury.
“I cannot BELIEVE that you would-“
“What’s that fucking racket all about, jesus!”
Charlotte stood, eyes widened as she saw the girl roll over. “Katie?!”
Katie yawned and opened her eyes, seeing not one Campbell standing up, but two. She screamed and pulled the duvet over her head.
“WHAT THE FUCK!” she said angrily from under the covers. Rebecca ran her hands through her hair, closing her eyes, exasperated. Charlotte giggled, shocked.
“Fucking hell, I only came up to see what you wanted me to get you from the shops.” Charlotte said, a smile still on her face. Rebecca smiled sarcastically at her as she walked over to the sofa, pulled on her trousers and walked out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Katie of course, took this as a sign of safety, so revealed herself from under the covers.
“Thank god she left-“
Charlotte raised a smug eyebrow at Katie, who sat in anger.
“Well, who’d of thought it?”
“Shut the fuck up.” Katie said sourly, resentful at being caught in the act. “You’ll be next. Us Fitches are irresistible.”
“Evidently!” Charlotte said, and looking at the chair next to her, seeing Katie’s leopard print top thrown on there. She picked it up gently and threw it at Katie. “Get dressed, Katie, before mum comes up and sees you lying here. It’s bad enough she nearly caught Emily a few times.”
Katie made a gagging noise. “Urgh, I don’t want to think of my sister like that, thanks. You’d better not tell her about this either, Charlotte.”
Charlotte put her finger to her lip. “My lips are sealed.”
Katie nodded proudly, but was taken down a notch when she noticed that Rebecca had left. She looked slightly hurt, but was determined to keep a brave face. Charlotte saw the twinge of emotion, and rested her hands on her hips.
“Are you okay?” she asked inquisitively. Katie nodded, before reaching over to the bedside table for her phone.
“I’m fine. I just need to make a quick call.” Katie stated briefly, as she put the phone to her ear. Charlotte turned and closed the door, breathing out a sigh of relief that it wasn’t Emily after all. But the notion that Rebecca and Katie just had sex in her sister’s bed made her giggle as she walked down the stairs.
Rebecca had decided to go back in after the embarrassment of being ambushed by her cousin, and so trudged back up the stairs past Charlotte who winked encouragingly at her. Rebecca flushed red for a second as she walked up the stairs, but paused as she heard Katie’s voice from behind the door.
“Babe? Hi, it’s Katie. You fancy taking me to the pitch to surf and turf?”
Rebecca couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“What the fuck is this?!” Emily shouted at the top of her voice. Why were the three of her cousins laying at her and Naomi’s feet?
Oh fuck.
Naomi.

Naomi was outside Keith’s pub, shakily having a fag. Her eyes were black from rubbing the makeup down her face from crying, and one of her cheeks was red from Gina slapping her in outrage. She leant against the wall, brushing the hair out of her face and folding her arms. She was wearing Emily’s jumper from the night before and it was giving her some sense of comfort at least, just until Emily arrived. Tears kept trickling out of her eyes but she brushed them away fiercely. She’d be damned if she would let anybody see her cry.
“Naomi?”
She heard a familiar husky voice say, as it came up beside her. She turned to face Emily, looking pale, cold and hurt. Emily’s face instantly softened, she could feel herself getting emotional as she looked at Naomi standing in such despair. She had never seen her like this.
“Naomi, what the fuck happened to you?” she said, gripping to Naomi in a tight hug, nuzzling into her neck as she could feel Naomi’s stomach tense up with emotion against her own. Emily blinked, a tear or two sliding down her cheek before Naomi let out a few breaths.
“I told her, I told my mum about us. It wasn’t the fact that you’re a girl-“
“It’s because I’m a Fitch, isn’t it?”
Naomi nodded. “Yeah. So she went fucking mental and threw me out, and told me to never bother coming back without a second thought. I can’t believe it, that’s so out of character of my mum.”
Emily stroked her face, still in a slight daze from the notion Gina knew everything about them.
“We’re going to sort this out. I promise. For now though, let’s get you cleaned up, I’ll buy you some new clothes and we’ll work out what to do from there. Okay?”
Naomi pecked Emily on the lips, Emily smiling at Naomi. “Okay.”

Meanwhile, Rebecca was in Naomi’s room sitting on the sofa, thinking. Thinking about everything, about the Fitch vs Campbell thing going on, thinking about a certain Fitch in particular. Just as she was getting lost in her thoughts she heard a “Fucking hell!” come from underneath the window. She rolled her eyes, expecting it to be Emily to come and see if Naomi was okay after all of the commotion earlier. She walked over to the window and leant out.
“Look, if you’re looking for-“
She looked down and sat Katie struggling to pull herself up, her heels clearly getting tangled up in the ivy. She stifled a giggle.
“Fucks sake, help me the fuck up!” Katie said impatiently. Rebecca grabbed one of Katie’s hands, pulling her up and through the window. Katie hopped on one foot as she saw that one of her stiletto shoes had fallen off during the epic battle with the ivy.
“Shit’s sake. Why can’t you get a ladder like normal people?”
Rebecca sighed. “Dunno. Aren’t you a bit early anyway? I thought I was seeing you at 6.”
“Yeah well, I thought you might want to see me a bit earlier.”
“Aren’t I the lucky one?” Rebecca scoffed as she sat down on the sofa again. Katie glared a little bit at her, not understanding how she could like somebody as sarcastic and moody as Rebecca. Somebody as female as Rebecca, too.
“What’s your problem?” Katie said. “Most people would kill to be with me, I’ll have you know.”
Rebecca laughed. “You’re so modest, Katie.”
Katie grinned. “I know, right?”
Rebecca shook her head while smiling. “Well, now that you’re here…what do you wanna do? We could go downstairs for a bit  and watch a film or something. Charlotte and Vera have gone out shopping with Gina. After everything today…” she paused. “Well, I’m guessing you know?”
“I know Naomi called Emily about something. Dunno what it was though.” She added.
“Oh, well Naomi told her mum everything, and now Gina went mental and kicked her out. I thought it was Emily climbing up the vine to see Naomi.”
“No, sorry. You’ve got the sexier twin instead.” Katie boasted.
“Katie, you are gorgeous, but you’re not that gorgeous.” Rebecca said, making Katie frown in disbelief.
“No need to be a twat.” She added bluntly, getting up to leave. Rebecca stood up and grabbed Katie’s hand instinctively, not realizing what she’d done before she had done it. Katie turned round, their eyes connecting. Both of them broke away from it quickly, Rebecca hurrying over to her previously vacated seat on the sofa, Katie standing with her hand on the doorhandle and rolling her eyes.
“Oh, fuck this.” She said, and started to unbutton her shirt. Rebecca looked over and then did a double take, realizing that Katie was stripping off.
“What are you doing?!” she said.
“I’m seeing if I really do fancy you. So I’m going to see what my sister does for myself, and you’re going to fucking like it. Okay?”
Rebecca smiled as she walked over to Katie. “Well, I’m not complaining.”
“Good.” Katie said, before pulling Rebecca into a kiss.

Naomi and Emily stood before Emily’s front door, letting out a long and withheld breath of nerves. They clasped their hands together before looking at each other.
“Okay, so you remember the plan, right?” Emily said. Naomi laughed briefly.
“I couldn’t forget it even if I wanted to, Em. I just can’t believe we’re going to do this. I can’t believe that we might actually make it out alive of your house.”
Emily kissed Naomi on the cheek. “We will. You go round to the back garden, there’s a ladder out the back that my dad used to clean the windows last week propped up against my window. My room window is always open so don’t worry. You wait in there, text me and I’ll come up, and then we’ll tell them all together – okay? We’re going to do this Naomi. I’m not living like this anymore and neither are you. We shouldn’t have to.”
Naomi began to feel shaky and Emily could hear her heart pounding in her ears. Naomi shook her head and toughened herself up.
“Okay.” She said, before letting go of Emily’s hand and not looking back as she hopped over the back fence. Emily watched her girlfriend go, they were finally going to do this. They were going to sort out the fighting once and for all. Emily opened the door to see three tearful looking girls standing in the hallway, Jenna also looking vaguely sombre. Emily trod warily towards them, looking incredibly puzzled.
“What’s happened?”

Starcrossed - Chapter 11
[info]mirrors_edge1
hi guys, sorry about a delay in posting - i've been busy with school and being ill! D: anyway here is a massive update, hope this makes up for lost time :3

Later on that morning, at about 7 just after the sun had risen fully, Emily crept her way back into the house through the back door that Katie had left open for her. She shut the door behind her, leaning back against it and smiling to herself at the memory of seeing Naomi again. Just as she was walking into the lounge to sit down and watch TV, she was shocked to see James up and watching cartoons very quietly so nobody could hear him. Emily smirked to herself, creeping up behind him and whispering very loudly in his ear.
“JAMES!”
James, who nearly literally crapped himself from the fear, was shaken up and glaring at Emily who laughed to herself as she sat down next to him.
“Bitch.”
“Freak.”
James and Emily sat together, arms folded and sulking, watching cartoons together. James turned and looked at Emily, who looked like she had been roughed up, and had a couple of lovebites on her neck. James giggled to himself, Emily looking at him weird.
“What are you laughing at, you twat?”
“You had sex with that GIRL didn’t youuuuu?” James laughed, pretending to make fun but secretly was amazed at the idea that girls had sex with each other. Emily rolled her eyes and went back to watching TV, before realising how James must have known.
“Oh, shit.” She said to herself. “Pass me the mirror, James.”
“You already broke it, bitch!”
“What did you just say to me?!”
James began to get intimidated as Emily stood up, grabbing him by the scruff of his pyjama t-shirt fiercely. “Okay!” he hurried, grabbing the mirror off the side and passing it to Emily. She turned her cheek slightly to show her neck, and laughed slightly at the marks Naomi had left on her neck. She threw the mirror back onto the sofa, ruffled James’ hair and as she walked out of the room, she said:
“Yes, James. I did have sex with that girl, and it was GREAT.”
She heard a “BLEGH!” from the lounge as she walked upstairs and into the bathroom.

“Naomi! Where have you been?!”
Gina, Vera, Charlotte and Rebecca were all sitting round the table, having breakfast together. Naomi shut the back door and shrugged.
“Out.”
She dismissed them all and walked upstairs sulkily, knowing that this could be the last time she saw Emily for the rest of summer until the Fitch cousins left. Gina, who like all of them could see, that Naomi looked like she’d been dragged through a hedge backwards was not standing for the explanation of just “out”. She slammed down a bowl on the table before walking briskly into the corridor to go and talk to Naomi.
“Oh god.” Vera said, taking a bite out of her toast. “This is going to be interesting.”
Rebecca and Charlotte looked at her and nodded.
Naomi, who was lying on her bed upstairs knackered, was rudely awoken by her mum opening the door and shutting it hard behind her.
“Naomi, I have no problem with you going out, for however long or where as long as you TELL me. And it also looks like you’ve been doing some things you shouldn’t be doing at a girl your age! Tell me what’s fucking going on, yeah?”
Naomi sighed. “If I told you mum, you wouldn’t understand.”
“I bet I would.” She said, walking over and sitting on the edge of Naomi’s bed. Naomi sat up and let out a sigh.
“You really wouldn’t, but I’m sick of hiding.”
Gina looked very confused. “Naomi, babes, what’s the matter?”
“I’ve…I’ve been seeing somebody. A girl.”
Gina’s face lit up. “Well, that’s alright, sweetheart! Being gay is nothing to be ashamed of, you know. I’m happy if you’re happy!”
Naomi smiled weakly. “That’s not what I’m worried about telling you, mum.”
“Oh, has she got you pregnant too, eh?” Gina said jokingly and laughing slightly. Naomi didn’t bother reacting to the joke, but continued to press onward with her unexpected confession.
“Her name’s Emily.”
Gina looked at Naomi, not really understanding why she was supposed to be phased by the name ‘Emily’.
“Emily… Emily Fitch.”

Katie sat nervously in her bed upstairs, having just been given Rebecca’s number by Emily before she went for a shower. She sat there, finger on her lip complacently, tapping on the screen of her phone. What the fuck, why was she so nervous? And why was she so nervous over a girl?
She had read the paper a thousand times over, having the number memorized in her head unintentionally. She pulled the duvet over her cosily, laying down and thinking about what to do next. Jade, Erika and Lauren were downstairs having breakfast with Rob and Jenna, so she was safe for a phonecall at least. She took one courageous breath, and dialled the number in her phone and pressed the call button.
The ringing tone seemed to go on forever.
“Hello?”
Katie sat upright in the shock she’d answered. “Um, hi, it’s Katie. Katie Fitch?”
“Oh!” Rebecca said, pleasantly surprised. She realized the tone of enthusiasm in her voice, coughed subtly and lowered her tone. “So, what’s the matter? How did you get my number anyway?”
“Jesus, nothings the matter. And Emily gave me your number. I was wondering if you fancied seeing me for a bit later.”
Rebecca smiled. “Where?”
“I’ll come to your house, Emily’s always talking about how she sneaks up the fucking ivy to Naomi’s room. What time?”
“About 6.” Rebecca said bluntly. “Okay, well, see you then.”
“Bye.” Said Katie casually, hanging up the phone before squealing briefly after. Emily came in wrapped in a towel, confused by the overjoyed behaviour her sister was acting. Katie coughed and got out of bed quickly, shoving the number in her draw.
“What are you looking at?”
Emily rolled her eyes. “Shut up. Were you just on the phone?”
“I might have been on a fucking megaphone for all it’s got to do with you.”
“Oi you cheeky bitch, I just got you Naomi’s cousins number. The least you could do was act a bit fucking grateful.”
Katie rolled her eyes before putting on (yet another) leopard print top. “Thank you, my perfect darling angel of a sister. Okay?”
Emily sighed. “Fine. When are you going out?”
“In a few hours. Ems, isn’t that your phone going off?”
Emily looked behind her, and was very surprised to see ‘Naomi’ flash up on the screen. She grabbed it straight away and answered it. “Hello gorgeous, what’s the matter? What?! Oh Christ, are you okay?! Fuck my cousins Naomi, if they see they’ll just have to deal. Okay. See you in a few minutes, I’m just gonna get dressed, I’ll meet you at Keith’s pub. Love you.”
Katie looked over curiously at Emily’s anxious face. “What’s the matter?”
Emily bit her lip in anxiety and looked up from her phone at Katie.
“I can’t explain now. I’ll tell you later.” She said, getting dressed faster than ever before and running downstairs.

Starcrossed - Chapter 10
[info]mirrors_edge1
bit naughty this bit! oooh ;D

Two weeks passed, and Naomi lay in bed, heartbroken. She hadn’t seen Emily for two whole weeks, but they had text every night from midnight onwards when all the Fitch cousins were asleep. Emily and Katie hadn’t been themselves for over a fortnight, both moping around the house, miserable. Emily, miserable from missing Naomi, and Katie, miserable from being extremely confused and from not being able to keep her mind on anything other than the events that occurred at Pandora’s party. Of course, Erika, Jade and Lauren were all growing suspicious of their moody temperament, but reached the conclusion it was because they’d lost out on giving the Campbell girls a good kicking.

The cousins were asleep, and Emily had had enough of waiting around for something to change. She tiptoed out of bed, pulled some trousers on over her shorts and a jacket over the top she was wearing. Fuck what she looked like, she was going to see Naomi. Katie stirred in her sleep, opening her eyes slightly to see Emily getting ready. She shuffled up a bit, so Emily noticed she was awake. Emily pointed at the window.
“Naomi.” She mouthed, creeping over Lauren to get to the open window. Katie waved her hands frantically trying to get Emily’s attention. She wrote down on a bit of paper and handed it quietly to Emily, who slid out of the window and into the back garden. Getting the phone out of her pocket, she used the backlight to read the paper.
“Get me her cousins number!!”
Emily smirked to herself as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her to Naomi’s house.

“What the?”
Naomi had been lying in the dark, light breaking through the curtains slightly from either passing cars or the streetlight. It was supposed to be such an amazing summer, such a brilliant summer between her and Emily. Not spent alone and unhappy. She heard little taps at her window, little but loud enough to be heard. She rubbed her eyes, opened the curtains to see Emily, standing at her garden, handful of gravel from the drive and smiling.
“But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Naomi is the sun!”
Emily said up to the window, posing angelically with her hands clasped. Naomi putting a finger to her mouth to stop herself from laughing as she grabbed her skirt from the side and the closest shoes she could find, before hurrying down from the window. The second her feet touched the floor, she ran into Emily’s arms.
“I’ve fucking missed you like you wouldn’t believe.” She said, breathing in Emily’s perfume, taking in everything about her. Emily was doing exactly the same for Naomi, almost crushing her with a hug.
“I know. Me too.” She said, stroking Naomi’s face. “Come on, we’re going to the lake.”
Naomi smiled and tiptoed to the garage, unlocking it with a key that was foolishly left in there. Sometimes it was a good thing her mother was such an idiot.
She ran inside, wheeling out her bike and giving Emily another. Emily smiled to herself as she got on the bike, the two of them cycling down to the lake. The only difference between how happy they were last time and how happy they were this time was the night sky.

“Oh come on, blowbacks was the start to such a fun night, Naomi.”
Emily was sparking up a spliff, and for once Naomi was refusing as she looked around the lakeside. The lake was perfect; quiet, pretty and untraceable. Trees covered them like a blanket underneath the blue haze of a sky, and all they could hear was little drips of the lake.
No traffic. No noise. No people.
Just them.
By the time they got there it must have been at least four in the morning, but it couldn’t have been more perfect; Emily and Naomi were sitting on the jackets they’d both managed to swipe before leaving, and much to Emily’s pleasure, her jacket contained her last spliff. She finished it off, let out the final breath and threw the rubbish to the side of her, wrapping her arm around Naomi’s.
“Well, that was just plain boring.” She said looking at Naomi cheekily. Naomi looked at her, completely content with a smile on her face. And without saying a word, she knelt up and kissed Emily on the forehead. Emily put her hands on Naomi’s face as she knelt back down, and kissed her on the lips.
Once.
Twice.  Three times and more.
Pulling Naomi on top of her, and not wanting to break away from it.
Skirt off. Trousers off. Tops off.
Kissing every inch and making every second count.
Scratching turning to biting. Breathing turning into words turning into gasps turning into screams.

Sunrise.

Starcrossed - Chapter 9
[info]mirrors_edge1

eeeeeee! here's the next chapter!

Katie and Emily raced down the stairs, shoving people out of the way as they did, Emily saw Charlotte and shook her shoulder frantically, and pointed at the text. Charlotte shot up from her seat on the stairs and ran downstairs with them. Naomi, Rebecca and Vera were still dancing happily away with the rest of the crowd, laughing and enjoying the music and the lights. Pandora’s living room was completely trashed, but she was far too drunk and happy with Thomas to care. Boys were throwing up other boys into the air, beer all over them and absolutely hysteric with laughter. Katie and Emily grabbed each other by the hand, shoving any person standing between them and the Campbells fiercely out of the way, provoking a few insults to be shouted but it would all be worth it in the end. Emily grabbed Naomi by the hand, trying to keep out of Erika’s eyeline by ducking down. Katie was crouched down behind Emily, trying to avoid being seen by both Erika and Rebecca. Naomi looked at Emily surprised, as Emily tried to pull her out of the living room. Naomi shook Emily off and looked at her puzzled as to what the hell she was doing.
“Emily, what-?”
“I can’t explain now, just trust me. Bring Rebecca and Vera.”
Naomi looked up to see Charlotte behind Katie, who was nodding at Naomi. Naomi sighed and allowed Emily to pull her out of the house, Vera and Rebecca linking arms and barging through subtly. Erika stood on the sofa, trying to see where they were going and who was leading them. She couldn’t see who was leading them, but she could see them leaving. She instantly called Jade on her phone, frantically shouting down the phone. They were going to get hold of those Campbells and give them the beating they deserved.
“Jade, where the fuck are you?! They’re leaving!”
“What the hell are all the Campbells doing in Bristol?!” Jade said, outraged on the other end of the phone. Lauren could see the front door open from the kitchen – it looked like two redheaded girls leading them out, but Lauren assumed that her eyes were playing tricks on her. After all, colour was everywhere with the masks, and there was people cramped everywhere. Jade was beginning to get extremely pissed off, as she hung up and shoved people out of the way quicker now, and began to run for the front door. Erika came out of the living room, catching onto Lauren as they burst out.

Naomi, Emily, Katie, Vera, Charlotte and Rebecca were all running down the street as fast as their legs could carry them. They threw their masks into the road and into bushes, hoping that they wouldn’t be followed. The Fitch cousins didn’t know where Naomi lived yet, and Emily and Katie could easily say that they went home because they were ‘bored’. Naomi and Emily ran hand in hand, Naomi having to start dragging Emily slightly as Emily was already out of breath. Rebecca, Katie and Vera sprinted quickly down the street and round the corner to the closed Post Office, Naomi helping Emily get onto her back as Naomi still managed to somehow jog down the street. They all sat down against the wall, gasping for breath from such a brisk and unexpected run. Katie however, was far too wired – she kept looking round the side of the office, watching subtly to see if the Fitches ran out of the house. She saw three beautiful looking girls in different coloured dresses look around them, and turn and run down the opposite end of the street. Katie let out a huge breath of relief and slid down the wall, resting her head on her knees as she sat. Naomi put Emily down and looked around.
“Emily, you want to tell me what the fuck is going on?!”
Emily handed Naomi her phone.
“Campbell scum are dwnstairs in party room!!!”
Naomi looked both insulted, and hurt. “Who the fuck is that from?”
“My cousin, Erika.” Emily said quietly. “What are we going to do?”
Naomi bit her lip. Vera was beginning to feel very uneasy, Charlotte was starting to panic silently to herself in her thoughts and Rebecca was being her usual irritated self.
“They don’t know where we’re staying though, do they?” she said, standing up and folding her arms. Katie couldn’t help staring at her, but Rebecca caught her out and she looked away quickly.
“No, they don’t. Katie said bluntly, trying to play it cool. Emily grinned to herself and Katie saw, both of them trying not to giggle.
“Look, we’ll be safe at mine for the time being. So let’s just go-“
“CAMPBELLS!” they heard a cry come from right at the other end of the street. They all froze as Jade, Erika and Lauren saw. “Good, Katie and Emily have caught up with them! Grab hold of them!!”
Emily and Katie looked at each other, and gently grabbed onto a Campbell each, knowing it could be the last time they saw them for the whole summer. Naomi and Emily exchanged one painful farewell glance, before Naomi pretended to shove her off and run down the road. Vera followed straight after Naomi hand in hand with Charlotte, and Rebecca and Katie took one final glance at each other and Rebecca shoved Katie off of her before sprinting down the street. Emily and Katie looked at each other, tears in their eyes as Jade, Erika and Lauren ran down the street but stopped once they got to Emily and Katie.
“Shit!” Jade said, stamping her foot, as she watched the Campbell girls sprinting down the road and onto the bus. She punched the postbox on the side of the postoffice, leaving a huge dent. Lauren and Erika looked fuming as well, but Emily and Katie felt ashamed to be a Fitch after the way tonight was ending.

Starcrossed - Chapter 8

this entry is pretty short so i'll more than likely update again in a bit! hope you like it.

“Naomi!”
Naomi turned round to see her sister hiding on the stairs behind a group of people. Naomi gave her an outgone look and walked over.
“Charlotte, why are you hiding?”
They know. They recognized me. Well, Jade did. And let me tell you, Jade is one of the Fitches you don’t want to mess with.”
Naomi felt slightly anxious, but decided to brush it off. Surely the Campbells could handle the Fitches no problem, right?
“Come on, you’re being stupid. We can handle those twats if they try anything. Remember it’s not just you and me this time, it’s the four of us. And I know Emily wouldn’t stand for it, too.”
Charlotte shook her head frantically, glad she had a mask on to hide away from them.
“Naomi, you don’t understand. You don’t know what happened back home. They live near us in London, see – we’ve had our windows bricked and everything. When we tried to retaliate by getting some of our friends together to graffiti our last name on the side of their house, they torched our car.”
Naomi looked extremely shocked. This was their mother’s battle; not theirs. Why had it spread so far as their cousins? Nobody was fighting back in Bristol. Well, with the exception of Naomi and Katie’s fighting for a couple of years, but even that was more because of Katie’s jealousy of losing control. And even then there was probably no fighting as well due to the fact Naomi and Emily were hopelessly in love, and James was only 10 years old. Having six pent up and angry teenage girls with a reason to attack each other could only end in chaos for everyone really.
“You’re here now, Charlotte. We won’t let anything happen, even Katie’s got more of a brain than that.”
Charlotte looked wearily at Naomi, not really wanting to move from her spot on the stairs with her mask over her face. She shook her head. “I’m not moving.”
“Well I’m going in there, I don’t give a shit if there’s the other Fitch relatives. I don’t know why you’re being so fucking scared about it.”
“Don’t, Naomi!”
But Naomi had turned and walked into the lounge, instantly starting to dance with Vera and Rebecca who had cheered up considerably from the music. The party was beginning to get good, and it was extremely colourful – with everybody’s masks on, it was like something out of a modern fairytale. Of course, some people were cheating by having their masks off to get off with somebody in a corner, or get insanely drunk. Thomas and Pandora were having a cuddle on the armchair with their matching masks on. Everybody in the room was having such a good time and the atmosphere was amazing – so lively and energetic – until Erika saw Naomi and her cousins, and instantly recognized them, looking away from Anna who was still talking to her in a drunk state.
“Campbells!” she hissed to herself in disbelief, and in an automatic shocked rush, text the other four Fitches in the house.
Jade and Lauren were sitting together outside on the edge of the bouncy castle with two of the reserves, Harley and Jason, having a drink and a chat when they felt their phones go off. Jade stood up in rage as Lauren followed after her.
“Ladies! What’s the rush? Where you off to?” said Harley, who was completely confused. The girls ignored him as they stormed into the house.
“We end this now.” Jade said threateningly, shoving open the back door. It would take a while to get to the lounge, though, as people had finally found their way to the kitchen, much to the luck of Naomi.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Emily and Katie felt their phones go off at the same time. Emily froze when she read the text, and Katie began to panic. They both looked at each other, horror in their eyes – and without saying a word, knew instantly what the other was thinking. It was just a matter of time now before a big explosion blew up between the Fitches and Campbells.

How on earth were they going to get out of this one?

Starcrossed - Chapter Seven
[info]mirrors_edge1
nice big FAT update for you all now :D

“Where’s Katie?”
Jadelynne, Erika and Lauren were sitting, unenthused on the sofa, watching as the crowd around them were trying to make the best out of a shit party. They couldn’t tell whether anybody was fit due to the masks, and a girl had just fallen across all of their laps. The girl was quite sweet looking, but clearly drunk off her face.
“Hello!” she said in a drunken giggle.
“Hi!” They all said enthusiastically, and eerily at the same time. The girl giggled and rolled off them, standing up on the floor.
“My name’s Anna.” She said in a bit of a drunken slur, but holding out her hand to shake theirs. Jadelynne shook her hand, as did Erika, but Lauren was distracted by one of the Rover Reserves who had taken their mask off and was really good looking. Jade rolled her eyes and stood up, Anna sitting in her place and instantly clicking with Erika in conversation. Jade was getting tired of waiting for Emily and Katie to make an appearance, so she decided to get up and look for them herself. Somebody who was walking the opposite way bumped into her, wearing a tragedy mask, and who had blonde hair.
“Watch where you’re-“
Instantly, they both knew what the other one was. Charlotte, who was the girl who had bumped into Jade, began to walk quickly the other way, Jade hot on her heels and wading through crowds of people dancing and headed for the kitchen. Charlotte had quickly hidden behind somebody on the stairs, so Jade was chasing after nobody- but  when she opened the kitchen door, it was still dark so she could barely see a thing – lucky for the two girls in there.
Katie shoved Rebecca instinctively hard off of her, separating the kiss. Rebecca composed herself, pulling her mask back on her quickly and Katie wiping her mouth subtly as Jade turned the light back on, Rebecca standing awkwardly in the kitchen trying to pretend to look for something.
“Who the fuck are you?” Jade said, and when Rebecca didn’t reply, she shook her head and turned to a rather sheepish looking Katie. “What’s up, why you got that look on your face?”
“No – No reason.” Katie stammered, Jade beginning to get a bit suspicious. “Have you found Emily yet?”
Jade shook her head. “No, not yet. I was just going to look for her though.”
“I’ll check the back now that I’m here.” Katie said hastily, remembering what she saw last time from Pandora’s kitchen on the bouncy castle. Jade smiled weakly before walking off back into the hallway. Rebecca let out a long sigh of relief, Katie running a hand through her hair.
“That was close.” Rebecca teased. Katie was too freaked out to be in the mood for jokes.
“You don’t get it, do you?” Katie said, her mood instantly changing from freaked out to raging. “I’m Katie Fitch. I’m NOT gay, I DON’T like girls and I never have.”
Rebecca scoffed. “Well I didn’t hear any complaining.”
“If you ever tell anybody about this, I’ll fucking –“ Katie began to threaten, but was quickly interrupted by a man walking through the doorway behind her.
“Nice one, yeah? Let me just get another drink, lads! Wheyyy!”
Oh fuck, Katie thought to herself. Rebecca looked the man up and down, clearly disgusted by his appearance. The man saw Katie standing with her back to him, and instantly knew from the red hair and the figure that it was Katie, as Emily was a tiny bit different. He put his hands on her hips, and instead of Katie wanting to sleep with him, Katie felt a bit awkward as she shoved him off.
“Danny, fuck off, would you?”
“You what?” he said, a bit shocked. Katie turned round, and seeing his shocked expression, felt bad. She kissed him quickly on the lips, as he put his arms around her. Katie felt a bit awkward considering Rebecca was right behind her.
“Babe, I’ll see you later, okay?” Katie said, trying to give him the impression she didn’t want to see him right now. He either was too stupid to take the hint, or was just plain ignoring it.
“Come on Ka’ie! I was expectin’ more than just a fucking peck on the lips tonight!” he said, laughing. Rebecca scoffed as she walked by Katie.
“Bye.” She said moodily, and slammed the kitchen door behind her. Katie closed her eyes with regret, before shoving Danny off her again and walking out of the back door to get Emily. She needed to talk to her sister right now.

“Katie, talk to me, would you? You brought me up here to tell me something when me and Naomi were having SUCH a nice moment-“
“Oh shut up!” she snapped, unintentionally, at Emily. “You and Naomi are always having a fucking nice moment! You and Naomi just ARE one giant nice moment!!”
Emily and Katie were up in Pandora’s room, which unbelievably, nobody had seemed to steal yet. Katie was pacing the room, hands flaring to express her moods as she talked, almost knocking the lamp over on Pandora’s desk. Emily sat back on the bed rolling her eyes at Katie, and pulling Naomi’s jacket more round her. Katie stopped pacing, and looked at Emily with a serious face.
“Emily, I swear to fucking God, you can NOT go mental when I tell you.”
Emily looked at Katie suspiciously. “…What have you done, Katie.”
“I nearly did a fucking Campbell in Pandora’s kitchen, that’s what I’ve done!” She said, disbelieving it even to herself. Emily gave her an obscure look, not really understanding what she meant.
“What the fuck are you talking about, Katie?”
“God, what are you Ems, stupid?! I practically bloody shagged your girlfriend’s cousin in Pandora’s kitchen, before Jade nearly caught us!”
Emily sat, in a stunned silence, looking at Katie with her mouth slightly open. Was Katie telling the truth? After the hell she had given her and Naomi, she was daring to tell her sister that she might be gay, or bi, at least?
“Are you joking?”
Katie shook her head, painfully.
Emily saw the emotion in her sister’s face, and let her anger go a bit. She stood up to hug her sister, who in turn, clung to Emily as she choked up with tears. Emily hugged Katie tightly.
“Katie, how long have you known you might be gay?”
“I hadn’t even had any feelings towards a girl, Emily. Not ever. Not until tonight. I'm not even gay, I think it's just...her.”
“Well…you weren’t drunk, were you?”
“No! I was in the kitchen looking for a drink…and then she was in there before me, and I dunno…we just sort of…”
“Clicked?”
Katie looked at Emily from the hug. “Yeah. Augh, it’s so fucking weird though Ems. Jesus, if the Campbells have to have a hold on us, why can’t there ever be any Campbell boys?!”
Emily giggled to herself. “Well I wasn’t really that bothered by it, Katie. I knew I was in love with Naomi from the moment I saw her, and I guess I couldn’t change it, so I just accepted it.”
“Pass me the fucking sick bucket.” Katie said laughing. Emily blushed a little and shoved her sister playfully.
“Oi you cheeky bastard, I’m trying to help you here!”

Starcrossed - Chapter 6
[info]mirrors_edge1
enjoyyyyy!

Outside, Katie and the other Fitches had arrived. They too, did exactly what Naomi, Emily and the Campbells did, by standing outside and taking in the party atmosphere. By now there was a clear night sky blanketing them, stars filling the dark blue. Katie saw the last four masks in a box outside Pandora’s house, and tottered over to it in her heels on the cobbled driveway, picking up a panda mask, a bird mask, a leopard mask (which she took for herself straight away) and a tiger mask.
“Who wants one of these cheapo shitty masks then?” she said, holding up the three that were left. Jadelynne grabbed the tiger mask, Erika grabbed the bird mask and Lauren had the panda mask. All of them put them on in synchrony and rang the doorbell – not that anybody would be able to hear it with the bass pumping through the air.
Somehow, Pandora DID manage to hear it, as she ran to the door and fell into Katie’s arms. Katie’s face was vaguely disgusted that somebody had fallen on her already and she hadn’t even gotten through the door, but because of her mask, nobody was aware of this. Pandora pushed herself up and saw Katie’s brown eyes that were identical to Emily’s.
“Katie!” she exclaimed. “Oh wizzer. I’m glad you bought more people. Who are they?”
“These are my cousins.” Katie said bluntly. “Can we come in now? I’m fucking dying for a drink.”
“Yeah sure, sorry.” Pandora said, and ran back into the living room to play twister. Jadelynne, Erika and Lauren all ran for the lounge, dancing with whoever they felt like. Katie saw them all flirting instantly, with their gorgeous looks and personality, as she sighed and walked into the kitchen.
The kitchen was dark, and the only light coming from it was from the window – you could barely see outside - which was probably fortunate for Emily and Naomi, as Katie would not be pleased if she saw what they were doing – but it was still a beautiful atmosphere. There was only one other person in there looking in the cupboards for any available wine, or alcohol that was left. It was only 10 o clock and already the house was drank of all alcohol.
“Shit.” Said Rebecca, who was the only other person in the kitchen. Katie turned round and gasped, a bit shocked as she was mesmerized by the summer night setting of the place.  Rebecca gasped too, but mostly out of embarrassment she was so pissed off that there was no booze.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” She said. Katie shook her head.
“No, it’s fine.” Katie exclaimed, and looked around herself. “I was just looking for a drink, actually, this party’s already fucking shit and I’ve only been here five minutes.”
Rebecca laughed. “Yeah, the same with me. I came with my cousins and my sister, but it looks like I’ve probably been ditched for the night as we’re the only ones in here.”
“Me, too.” Katie said. “I fucking hate all the Bristol Rovers Reserves, but my boyfriend is one of them even though he’s a prick. I want somebody new, y’know?”
“Yeah, me too.”
The girls turned to face each other, and found they were a lot closer than they thought. They were both standing by the light of the kitchen window, and found themselves to be looking directly into the others’ eyes. Katie, and Rebecca for that matter, both felt butterflies in their stomach. For once Katie was able to have a -so far, at least- flowing, civil conversation with somebody. Somebody who seemed to understand her from the very moment they had met. Their eyes were scanning each other unintentionally, wanting to look at every inch of them, even though they had masks on. Katie was quite freaked out by being so attracted to a girl. She was Katie Fitch, she liked boys, booze, and boys. BOYS. Not girls. That was Emily, that was just Emily…wasn’t it?
Katie didn’t understand why she was feeling like this, but even in the dark, even from having little light shining on Rebecca she wanted her, more than any boy she had ever been out with. Rebecca didn’t understand it either despite having incidents with girls before, but she didn’t have feelings for Emily when she saw her; so why was Katie any different?
What they didn’t realize was as they had been looking at each other, they had gotten a little bit closer each time, until they were almost touching bodies. Rebecca and Katie snapped out of their trance, before looking around them quickly and stepping back once.
“So um…shall we keep looking for drinks?” Rebecca said hastily, not wanting to let herself like someone incase of rejection. Katie nodded, before turning round quickly again.
“Oh wait! You never told me your name. Or showed me your face.”
“Well, put the light on, it’s bloody dark in here.” Rebecca said, sitting on the counter next to the oven and taking off her mask. Katie took off her mask too, and flicked on the switch. Katie turned round and saw Rebecca, and of course the feelings didn’t go away – she thought Rebecca was beautiful. Blonde hair, pretty blue eyes, not to mention the personality to match Katie’s even from the few words that were said. Katie’s happy expression soon faded when she saw Rebecca’s expression.
“Oh, bollocks.” Rebecca said, putting her face in her hands. Katie looked at her , puzzled.
“What’s wrong?” she said.
“You’re Emily’s sister, right? You’re Katie?”
Katie rolled her eyes at the mention of her sister, but shook her head to disguise her jealousy. “Yeah, why?”
“Well…my name is Rebecca. Rebecca Campbell.”
Katie’s eyes widened.
“What?!” she yelled. “You’re a fucking Campbell?!” she exclaimed.
She didn’t understand why she was getting this wound up by somebody she’d just met – why was she so bothered? It was a girl, for a start, and she barely knew a thing about her. But she was dying to know more, and she could tell that Rebecca was putting her personality on hold too, to try and get to know Katie. Katie paced angrily up and down the kitchen, hitting the drawer of the counter every time she walked by. Rebecca rested against the oven, mask hanging around her neck as she watched Katie.
“For fuck’s sake, Katie. I’m not going mental over the fact you’re a Fitch, am I?”
Katie turned round, a saddened look in her eye. “No, but you don’t understand. Nobody gets to me like this. I’m Katie Fitch. I’m a fucking Fitch, and I’m not giving in to no Campbell like my sister has. I’m not a fucking lezzer, either!”
By this point Katie was yelling, and Rebecca was growing tired of it – no matter how much of a connection she felt to Katie, no matter that Katie was the first person she’d been bothered about in years despite only knowing her for half an hour, she wasn’t going to stick around for somebody who was going to be treating her badly. She slid herself off the counter and began to walk for the door.
“See you around, Katie.” She said, opening the door. Katie ran over and slammed the door shut, and before she knew it, she had turned the light off again and pressed her lips on Rebecca’s. Fuck the fact she was a girl, this was what she wanted. For now, at least.

While this was going on inside, out on the bouncy castle, Naomi and Emily were laying breathless but smiling in the dark. Naomi’s head was rested on Emily’s stomach, as Emily stroked her hair.
“Well Emily, I can honestly say,” Naomi said, rolling over to face the starry sky up from the bouncy castle. “Nothing beats bouncy castle sex.”
Emily giggled. “Well to be honest it was just like being on a much springier mattress. But twice in one day Naomi, you’re on a fucking mission!”
“Literally.” Naomi added smugly. Emily rested her arm on Naomi’s chest, laying up and looking at the sky. Even though there was still the loud music and the shouting, the garden was empty and it was a beautiful summer night.
“Emily, can I just tell you one more thing, before we probably fall asleep on here like we did last time?”
“What?”
Naomi sighed. “When I’m with you, I always feel perfect.”
Emily let out a big smile, and entwined her fingers with Naomi’s.

“That’s because you are.”

Starcrossed - Chapter 5
[info]mirrors_edge1
hiya! here's the next chapter.

“Oh Naomi do we have to go tonight? I mean I don’t know about you, but I’m perfectly happy staying here.”
Emily and Naomi were laying in Naomi’s bed, cuddling after what you could call a ‘special’ visit from Emily. The room was hot, and there were clothes all over the floor again. The clock beside Naomi’s bed was shining neon numbers in Naomi’s face as she rested her head on Emily’s. Naomi was tired, and had lipstick all over her mouth. She could barely be bothered to speak, let alone get up. She was perfectly content in her bed, with the girl she loved.
“Naomi! God, I didn’t wear you out that much, did I?” Emily said, in her usual husky voice. Naomi laughed and hugged herself more into Emily.
“You’re bloody lucky my mum doesn’t hear us, you know.”
Emily let out a laugh of disbelief. “Us? You’re the one who is the loudest of the two of us!”
Naomi felt herself blush as she let go of Emily and rolled over on her other side. Emily giggled as she wrapped her arms around Naomi’s waist, even though Naomi was trying to sulk out of embarrassment.
“Oh come on, you know I love you.” Emily said, kissing Naomi on the shoulder as Naomi smiled to herself. Naomi rolled over, and looked at Emily.
“I love you, too.”
Emily smiled, and just as they were about to kiss, Naomi’s phone beeped making them nearly jump right out of their skin.
“Jesus Christ!” Naomi said, sitting bolt upright and grabbing her phone quickly. Instantly seeing that it was a message from Pandora, she was praying the party had been cancelled.
“Oh, fucking hell.” She said, exasperated. Emily rested her head on Naomi’s shoulder and sat up next to her.
“What’s the matter?”
“It’s Pandora’s party. It’s been changed now from just ‘jelly and ice cream’ to ‘wear a mask and eat jelly and ice cream’.” Naomi said sulkily, throwing her phone on the sofa across the room. Emily laughed at her girlfriend’s cynical nature, and adored the look of thunder on Naomi’s face when she didn’t get her own way. Kissing Naomi on the cheek, Emily hopped out of bed and shoved on one of Naomi’s shirts, the shorts and leggings she was wearing before, and threw Naomi some clothes.
“Come on, it’ll be fun. I promise!” Emily said. “If it’s a masquerade party, that’s even better, considering my other Fitch family members won’t recognize you.”
“Huh?” Naomi said, nervously confused. What other Fitch family members would possibly be going to Pandora’s party?
“Well like you, my cousins have come over to stay, and I’m pretty sure by now that they’ll of arrived. So no doubt Katie will be bringing them, but they won’t recognize you and your family won’t recognize them, as we both have quite distinctive looks.”
“Um…okay.” Naomi said, finally dressed and putting on some make-up. “Okay, let’s go. I’m sick of waiting for this bloody nightmare party to end.”

Naomi, Emily, Charlotte, Vera and Rebecca looked quite strange as they waited underneath a streetlight for the bus to take them to Pandora’s. The five of them were waiting, in masks, and quite colourful outfits to match. Old ladies that were walking home from shopping gave them quite outgone looks from across the street, and the amount of drivers and cyclists’ heads that were turned was ridiculous. Naomi and Emily had managed to find some old Halloween masks for the 5 of them in Naomi’s attic; Charlotte was wearing a tragedy mask, Vera and Rebecca wearing different coloured velvet eyemasks. Naomi and Emily were also matching – Naomi wearing a black mask with white outlining the eyeholes, and Emily wearing a white mask with black outlining her eyeholes. They sat in peaceful silence, listening to the cars drive by, and being able to smile secretly at people’s reactions when they saw their faces. Naomi and Emily were holding hands as they stood closely to each other, nobody suspecting a thing, even though almost all of them knew about their relationship anyway. At last, the bus pulled up.
“About time.” Rebecca said in a muffled voice. Vera giggled at the bus drivers’ shocked face as they climbed on the bus. There were only 3 other passengers on it, so the girls decided to sit on the upstairs of the bus.
As they sat down all together, the bus moving, Emily’s curiosity was burning away about the Campbells. She hadn’t actually been told much about Naomi’s sister, let alone her cousins. But to be fair, Naomi had met Katie, and all she knew was that Katie didn’t like her at all. Charlotte seemed to have no problem with Naomi being gay or being with Emily, which was remarkable considering she was a Fitch.
“So, you guys really don’t mind me being a Fitch?” Emily said, trying to sound casual but was clearly anticipating bad responses.
“Nah. I don’t, anyway.” Charlotte said. “I think it’s unfair that Gina blames the whole Fitch family for what happened, but I can see why she’s angry.”
Emily nodded. “I guess so. My mum was only looking out for us, though.”
“Yeah, but she was supposed to share the winnings, not take it all for herself.” Rebecca said, not in an irritated voice, but in an honest one. Naomi clenched her jaw slightly, not wanting an argument to arise. It looked a bit ridiculous as they were all arguing in masks, with muffled voices, anyway.
“Look, what’s done is done, you can’t fucking turn back time. So let’s just enjoy tonight, ok?” Naomi said. The girls agreed, and went back to looking out of the window. Vera turned round to Emily and Naomi again not long after, though.
“So, is it just your sister there tonight, Emily? We wouldn’t want a war breaking out at the party.”
“Um…”Emily said, nervously. “No, it’s not…my cousins are staying with us for the summer, so they’re coming along as well.”
The Campbells, with exception of Naomi, exchanged worried glances. “Erm, Emily…who are your cousins? Because we may have had run-ins with them  before. And if it’s them…”
“We’re fucked.” Rebecca said bluntly, to finish Vera’s sentence. Emily was about to say when the bus pulled up outside Pandora’s neighbours house.
“Oh, we’re here!” Emily said quickly, jumping up and going down the stairs. Naomi was quick to follow behind, while the other girls were hesitant about getting off the bus at all. There were cars parked outside the house, quite rich looking cars too, and the house was booming just like it was last time. It had already been crashed by the footballers again, by the looks of things.
Naomi, Emily, and the other three girls got off the bus, standing and looking in awe of the house. Lights were flashing on and off brightly, music was pumping in their ears even from the street. Pandora staggered out, absolutely wetting herself laughing at a non-existant object infront of her, as her eyes met with the group  of girls infront of her house. Everybody in the house was wearing a mask of some sort, so clearly the theme had been a hit.
“Who are you guys?” she said, walking up to the group of girls and closely inspecting their eyes. She knew right away from the dark brown eyes and the bright blue eyes that it was Emily and Naomi, and Naomi’s cousins as they were all vaguely alike, what with all having blonde hair and blue eyes.
“Wizzer! Come in, I’m lovin’ how this theme’s goin’!”
“What made you have this theme anyway, Panda?” Naomi said as they walked up to the front door.
“Oh, well me and Thomas watched Romeo and Juliet last night, and they’re always havin’ them big elaborate parties. So we thought why not?”
Naomi and Emily raised an eyebrow at each other, noticing how ironic it was that they were in the vaguely same position as Romeo and Juliet, what with the arguing families and the party.
“Anyway, come in! My mum’s gone out the country for a few days, which is why everyone’s been invited.”
“Oh, that makes more sense.” Emily said as they entered the house. There was a bouncy castle in the back garden, and Emily and Naomi’s eyes instantly lit up like children.
“Race you!” Naomi said, giving herself a headstart and shoving Emily cheekily behind her. Emily giggled as they both shoved their way through the crowds of people to get to the back door, before running and jumping on the bouncy castle, and inevitably at some point, on each other.
Rebecca sighed at the sight of so many footballers’ in one living room, hitting on girls who clearly were not interested.
“I’m going to get a drink.” She said, walking into the kitchen. And murmered to herself “I’m going to fucking need more than one…”

Starcrossed - Chapter 4
[info]mirrors_edge1
here ya go! a bit of fitch for you :3

“Dad, have you seen Emily?”
Katie was rushing round. It was about 7 in the evening, and her and Emily were supposed to  be going to Pandora’s party after their cousins had arrived. She was putting on her favourite leopard print top, black pencil skirt and a black bow in her hair to match, with killer heels and giant gold earrings, to try and make sure she managed to pull if somebody was going to gatecrash Pandora’s party like the last time.
“No, sorry Katiekins.” The doorbell rang. “Oh! Ere’ll be your cousins now!” he said, getting up and jogging to the door. James was laying on the sofa relaxing and playing on his Nintendo DS, before Katie casually took it out of his hands and flung it behind her mindlessly as she sat down on the sofa. James gave her a look to kill.
“You’re just in a bad mood because when you aren’t getting any, Emily’s getting mega loads!”
“What did you just fucking say to me, worm?!” she said, getting up and angrily grabbing James’ arm and digging her nails in. James let out a little cry of pain before Rob walked back into the room with three beautiful, glamorous and, quite obviously, Fitch girls. Katie looked at the three of them, letting go of James who ran over to their dad and out of the room.
“Fucking hell!” Katie said, laughing. “I didn’t think you were coming today. Took your pissing time, didn’t you?”
“Shut up dickhead.” One of the girls said cheekily, “dad was late dropping us off. He had a business meeting before he flew out to mum in Paris.”
“Anyway, your text said there was a party involved?” said one of the other girls as Katie nodded.
“Yep. But I warn you now Erika, it might not be upto much. The girl who’s party it is, is lovely, but a bit of a loser. Which means no boys.”
Nobody but Katie seemed to  be bothered about this fact, so Katie decided to move swiftly on. “Anyway…should be fun, though. Last party she had we spiked the chocolate brownies with MdMA!”
The girls let out a quick giggle, except for the final girl, who found it hilarious, as did Katie at the memory of Pandora’s mum dancing to Bon Jovi.
“Lauren, stop laughing, it wasn’t THAT funny.” Said the girl who earlier called Katie a dickhead. Lauren sighed, flicked her hair behind her shoulder and picked up her bag.
“Just because I have a sense of humour, Jadelynne. Now are you coming?”
The cheekier girl, Jadelynne, laughed at Lauren’s attitude before picking up her bag. Erika rolled her eyes at Katie who in turn smiled, as the three girls trudged upstairs, shoving their stuff into Katie’s room before quickly glamming themselves up a bit more in the bathroom, ready for the party. Downstairs, Katie was sat on the kitchen counter, sighing as she looked at her watch and called Emily.
“…Hello?”
“Emily, where the fuck are you?” Katie said, in a hushed voice incase her cousins came back downstairs.
“I’m at Naomi’s. I’ll meet you at Pandora’s.”
“No!  You fucking get back over – Emily? Emily?! AUGH!!!”
Emily had hung up on Katie, who was surpressing her fury as her cousins came back into the room, all three of them looking stunning, as did Katie. Katie hotched herself off of the counter, checking her lipgloss in the mirror as she lead the three of them down the hallway and out of the front door.
It was starting to get vaguely dark as the streetlights flickered on, but the atmosphere was lovely and it  really felt like summer. The air was cool, but the weather was still hot. The clouds in the sky looked kind of overcast but that was more because night was coming. Katie ran a hand through her hair as she looked at the quiet suburban houses around her, trying to work out which way was best to get to Pandora’s. She smiled to herself as she began to remember the way, and turned round to clap her hands.
“Let’s go and have a right fucking time of it, girlies!”

Jadelynne put her arm around Katie as they walked up the drive. “And no fucking Campbell’s are going to ruin it like they tried to for your mum.” She said proudly, taking her arm that was around Katie away, as Katie let out a nervous laugh.
“Er…yeah. Why are you so bothered, by the way? It’s our mum what nearly lost all the money.” Katie said, trying to be subtle. Jade scoffed.
“If your mum hadn’t given daddy some of her money from the business, he couldn’t have made the investments in the property market. Now he’s one of the richest sellers in the country.”
Katie felt a little jealous that they had benefited more from their mother’s sneaky winnings than they had, but they were all Fitches, so the wealth was bound to go round. Katie welled up with pride secretly as she was now in the knowledge she came from a wealthy family – perfect to be a WAG.
“Is your boyfriend coming tonight, Katie?” Erika said, as she walked down the street with them, linking arms with Lauren. “Does he still play for Bristol Rovers Reserves?”
“Yeah he does, and no you idiot, remember? No boys are allowed. But I guess that didn’t stop them coming last time.”
“What about that girl that hit you over the head with a rock?” Lauren piped up. Katie paused for thought as to whether Effy would be allowed to go to Pandora’s party, as her and Cook has just returned back home. Freddie was with Effy, much to Katie’s displeasure – so Katie got back with Danny, considering she a) wanted to make Freddie jealous, and b) she had no other options for sex.
“I dunno, but if she is-“
Katie was interrupted by a buzzing from her phone. ‘Pandora’ flashed on her screen as she put the phone to her ear.
“Hi babe, what’s up? Party’s still on for tonight, isn’t it?”
“Yeah! It’s not that, stupid.” Pandora said, giggling as she spoke. “I’ve changed my mind, I want it to be a masquerade party!”
“…A masquerade party?” Katie said out loud, all the girls stopping in their tracks and pulling confused faces.
“Yeah! You know, one of them wizzer parties where everyone wears masks. It’s brill!”
Katie shook her head. “Riiiight…and where are we supposed to get masks from?”
“I’ve got some for you here, if you ain’t got your own. I’ve just text Ems and Naomi, as Emily is far more likely to be with her than you, so they can get masks together!”
Katie felt a little hurt that people were beginning to associate Emily with Naomi now more than her own sister. Her eyes fell to the floor as it sunk in.
“Okay.” She said quietly, and hung up.
Jadelynne saw that Katie wasn’t okay, as she was still in the same position she was in when she hung up. Jade took the phone out of Katie’s hand slowly.
“Katie, are you okay? What’s up?”
Katie shook her head, preventing herself from choking up. “Nothing. I’m fine. That was Pandora on the phone incase you hadn’t guessed, she says she wants to have a fucking mask party. Weirdo.”
The girls giggled slightly. “Oh come on Katie, it could be fun. It’s not like we can’t get pissed or high, either.”
Katie shrugged. “Yeah, I guess so.” She said, as they began to walk down the street again, heels clicking on the floor. Lauren began to look round the group suddenly, and Erika noticed.
“Lauren, what’s the matter?”
Lauren looked puzzled. “Well, where’s Emily?”

Starcrossed - Chapter 3
[info]mirrors_edge1

here ya go!

Rebecca began to realize where this was going. Naomi nodded, seeing the look on Rebecca’s face.

“Yeah, you’re right. They didn’t win the actual jackpot, so nobody was into millionaire territory, but they did win about £300,000, as far as I know which is still quite a bit of money. Jenna wanted to be a professional businesswoman with her own company, and Rob wanted his own gym, but all my mum wanted was a roof over her head and enough to get by. So instead of splitting it, she claimed all the winnings for herself and Rob, leaving mum as a single and once again pregnant mother who was penniless and in debt. So, basically, Jenna Fitch royally fucked her over. And now mum has this huge overblown vendetta against the whole of the family, and we’ve been forbidden to - “

“Fuck!” said someone who was climbing the ivy that lead up the wall to Naomi’s window, making a large bang on the floor as she fell in. Naomi burst out laughing as she ran over to Emily, who pushed herself up and leaped on Naomi, wearing a huge grin on her face.
“I missed you too much, and I have had a bad start to my day!” She said, kissing Naomi frantically on the lips and on the cheek. Naomi, still a little shocked at having her girlfriend tumble unexpectedly through her bedroom window, hugged Emily tightly and continued to kiss her back until Rebecca coughed very loudly. Both girls turned slowly to face Naomi’s cousin, who was sitting there with a large smirk on her face. Emily and Naomi tore apart quick as lightening, straightening themselves up.
“Um…” Emily said shyly, subtly wiping lipstick off her mouth as she was facing Rebecca. “Sorry.”
“So, this is Emily.” Naomi said, pointing at Emily, who started to giggle. Rebecca let out a small laugh and stood up.
“Yeah, I thought as much.”
“Oh! Emily, this is my cousin, Rebecca. We’ve got my sister and my other cousin here, too.”
Emily walked over to Rebecca and shook her hand, Rebecca smiling at how polite Emily was. “I’m sorry about me bursting through an open window like that! I could hear the conversation, though.”
Naomi turned to Emily. “I was just explaining-“
“Naomi, what was that loud bang up there a minute ago?” Gina called up. Naomi, Emily and Rebecca all froze facing each other as they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. As reality hit Naomi and Emily hard in the face, Naomi began to panic.
“Quick! Get under the covers!” Naomi whispered frantically. Emily scoffed a little.
“Naomi, do you really think now is an appropriate time?”
Rebecca began to giggle and Naomi managed to surpress a laugh as she tripped Emily up and shoved her quickly into the bed, sitting on her whilst Emily was under the covers. Naomi could feel Emily’s laughter underneath her, which was making Naomi smile. Rebecca’s hand was pressed firmly to her mouth to stop herself from laughing as well. Gina flung the door open rather than knocking this time, to see Naomi and Rebecca sitting still and making up a conversation.
“What the hell was that noise, Naomi?” Gina said, looking round the room. Naomi and Rebecca exchanged looks of false confusion.
“What noise? We didn’t hear anything.”
Gina looked at Naomi for a second,  before shrugging and closing the door. Naomi closed her eyes as she rolled off Emily who openly started laughing and threw the covers off herself, all the girls in the room giggling quietly at the novelty of what had just happened.
“Listen, I’m gonna go downstairs for a bit, as I think you ladies may be wanting some time alone.”
Emily sat up from under the covers. “You can come to Pandora’s  party tonight, if you aren’t doing anything. We need a few extra people.”
Rebecca nodded. “Wicked. Well, I’ll see you later, then.”
Rebecca had hurried out of Naomi’s room, closing the door. Emily and Naomi turned to face each other on the bed, brown eyes meeting blue and both laughing as Emily shifted herself so she was laying on top of Naomi.
“Don’t you just love my sneaky visits?” Emily said, smugly. Naomi smiled.
“A bit too much.” She said, before she kissed Emily softly on the lips.

Starcrossed - Chapter 2
[info]mirrors_edge1
this is part one of two updates today ;) i have lots to write haha, thanks for reading everyone!

“Katie! Katie, for fuck’s sake, hurry up!”
As usual, the morning rush for the bathroom had begun, and Katie had got there first. Emily sighed as she sulked, hanging over the banister, watching James come up the stairs, bowl of cereal in hand and attempting to give Emily a filthy look. Emily slapped him on the back of the head.
“Ow!” he cried, spilling Cheerios all over the floor. “Mum! Mum, Emily hit me and made me make a mess on the carpet!”
Emily rolled her eyes and hung over the banister again. “She’s gone to work, dickweed. You should know that after 10 years of it.”
“Just because you’re missing your lesbian lover!” James said daringly, Emily turning round outraged as James hurried into his room letting out a yelp of fear and slamming the door. Emily began to get infuriated now, with James’ cocky little remarks and Katie’s taking-foreverness in the bathroom. She walked up to the door and flung it open, Katie screaming and grabbing a towel from the bar near the shower.

“Emily!!” she yelled. “What the fuck are you doing?!”
Emily sighed tiredly. “I want a fucking shower. So get out.”

Katie scowled at Emily, wrapping the towel round her and turning off the shower.  “Just cos you’re missing your dyke of a girlfriend!”
“I am not fucking missing Naomi yet! Jesus, it’s only been a fucking day!” Emily shouted furiously at Katie. Katie laughed smugly as she walked past Emily.
“Exactly.” She said, closing the door behind her.
Emily rolled her eyes, and as Katie closed the door, laughed at herself. She was missing Naomi, even though it had only been a day and a half or so. She took her phone out of her pyjama pocket and begun to write a text to her.
“Hi gorgeous. Are you coming to Pandora’s party tonight? I hear she’s having another bouncy castle :D! I love you. x”
She pressed the send button, took her clothes off and stepped into a freezing cold shower.
“KATIE!!” she screamed through the walls.

“Oh, I just got a text.” Naomi said, feeling her phone buzz. She opened the text and was delighted to see it was from Emily. Naomi made a “hmm” sound, attracting Charlotte’s attention.
“What was the ‘hmm’ for?”
Naomi stood up, paced the room once or twice before turning to Charlotte. “You fancy coming with me to a party tonight? You can meet the Fitch twins and see that you’re right not to have anything against them.”
“Well, I’m not too fond of Katie as I’ve met that one before.” Charlotte said, considering whether to go or not. “Well, so long as Emily isn’t anything like Katie-“
“She isn’t.” Naomi said, in a sure tone.
“Well then that’s fine then!” Charlotte said, both girls smiling. Naomi checked the time,  and was surprised to see that it was already mid afternoon.
“God, we’ve been talking for ages. We’d better go downstairs to wait for Rebecca and Vera.”
Naomi and Charlotte heaved themselves up from the sofa and the bed, and trudged their way downstairs. Just as Naomi’s foot touched the floor of the hallway, the doorbell rang. They heard eager laughter from the door, and saw two familiar faces, one with blue eyes and one with hazel, peering in the window of the door. Naomi laughed as she saw her cousins at the door, and went to open it to be greeted with arms flung round her neck in a tight and excited hug.
“Naomi!”
“Hey, Vera.”
Vera let go of Naomi and went to pick up her bags from the front door. Vera was one of Naomi’s nicest relatives, and probably the most friendly. She was like most of the Campbells – tall, blonde and had hazel eyes (with exception of Naomi and her bright blue eyes). Vera smiled at Naomi before walking past her to go and see Gina, still clutching all her bags. Naomi, Charlotte and the other cousin, Rebecca, heard happy greetings from the kitchen. Rebecca sighed as she looked up and checked her surroundings of the house. Inside the house it was very pretty; everything was nicely organized, and the floors and the banister was solid oak. She could see from the doorway the environmentally friendly kitchen and the political posters from years ago that had been framed proudly by Naomi’s mother. Charlotte gave Rebecca a quick wave before walking into the lounge and switching on the TV.
“Hi, Naomi.” Rebecca said, smiling wearily and picking up her bags. She looked knackered, so Naomi decided to give her a hand.
“Let me help you.” Naomi said, picking one up and taking it upstairs. Rebecca thanked her, and picked up her two other bags, shifting herself up the stairs slowly as both bags contained the things she’d need to survive somewhere for however long her parents had decided to ditch them both for. Naomi and Rebecca both flung the bags they were carrying onto the bed, and they both fell back onto the sofa behind them, letting out breaths of exhaustion.
“Phew…so, are you okay then, Becca? You don’t really seem that happy.”
“Nah, I’m fine. Just annoyed that my parents have decided to ditch me and Vera because they ‘needed’ a second honeymoon.” She said bitterly, folding her arms. “But anyway, how are you and a certain Miss Fitch I’ve been told so eagerly about by you?”
Naomi blushed a bit at the unexpected mention of Emily’s name. “How did you know she was a Fitch?”
Rebecca laughed. “Naomi, she’s all you ever bloody talk about to me online or in texts.”
Naomi sat writhing in embarrassment, before laughing shortly at herself. “Erm, we’re brilliant thanks. My mum still isn’t keen on the Fitches though, so there’s no way I’m ever going to be able to tell her.”
“Oh yeah.” Rebecca said thoughtfully. “I’ve never been explained what happened with us and the Fitches, my parents just don’t like them. But seeing how I don’t live in Bristol, I’ve never really had the need to be told. So fill me in.”
Naomi sighed. “Okay, but brace yourself, it’s a long story. And I’m going to repeat it how she told me, okay?”
Rebecca looked intently at Naomi, as Naomi took in a deep breath, preparing herself for the Fitch vs Campbell saga to be explained. God knows she’d heard it enough from her mum.

“When mum was in university, she met Emily’s mum, Jenna Fitch as roommates in the dorms. They were really really good friends, they did loads together and apparently they used to be able to rely on each other for anything. A couple of years went by, mum was with Charlotte & me’s dad, and Jenna was with Emily’s dad, Rob. Both of them were trying to pay off all the uni debts in order to move out and start proper lives with their big fucking family plans, but they were having no luck finding jobs that could support them. So purely by chance, just after mum had brought Charlotte into the world, actually; Jenna and mum decided to get a lottery ticket, that they both picked 3 numbers for and paid 50p each, so that if they DID happen to win, they’d split it in half. Or at least that was the agreement at first.”

part 2 of the explanation will be posted in the second update ;D

Starcrossed - Chapter One!
[info]mirrors_edge1
hi guys! this was very very sort of inspired by romeo & juliet...but it won't have any suicide in it, so dont worry. :p this is gonna be an on-going fic as well. just the first chapter for now, i hope you like it! :D

“First day of summer.”
Roundview college had come to a close for another year. Naomi was laying on her bed in her room at home, staring at the ceiling with the window open and the birds singing outside. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and there was only one person she wanted to spend it with. But that was a bit hard to do, when both the Campbell’s and the Fitch’s hated each other so openly. Naomi sighed and rolled over, picking up her phone on the table next to her bed. She scrolled down the texts, looking at the lovely words Emily had sent to her. Emily was a thought, a feeling that was irremovable from her head – the one thing she thought about when she woke up and the last thing she thought about before going to sleep, and Emily felt the same. Life could not be better for Naomi Campbell.
“Naomi?” she heard from outside her door and a knock to accompany it. It was Gina, Naomi’s mum, cautiously opening and poking her head around the door. “Alright love?”
Naomi nodded and hid the phone quickly under her pillow. “What’s up?” she said, in a typically unenthusiastic voice .
“Well, I’ve got a visitor for you!” she said. “Well, three visitors, but later on. We won’t be having any of that Fitch scum around here…”
“Mum!” Naomi interrupted angrily.
“Okay, okay!” Gina said, uneasy of why her daughter was so angry every time she brought up the Fitches recently. She had no idea about Emily and Naomi – well, either she had no idea, or she just hadn’t figured out that Emily had been sneaking up the canopy hanging outside Naomi’s bedroom window to see her daughter.
“Look, Charlotte’s back from Uni for the summer!”
Naomi smiled as Charlotte walked into the room, who gave Naomi a quick wave and put her stuff down on the sofa in Naomi’s room. Naomi walked up to her older sister and gave her a hug.
“Hello stranger!” Charlotte said, hugging Naomi back. “God, it’s been ages since I’ve spoken to you. How have you been?”
Naomi smiled. “Oh you know, this and that. I’ll tell you more later when SOMEBODY isn’t still lingering about.”
Gina got the hint and laughed a little. “Oh I get it, girl talk. Okay, well I’ll leave you to it. Oh! But Naomi, Rebecca and Vera are coming a bit later on at teatime while Harry and Emilia go on a second honeymoon for god knows how long, so they’ll be staying here for a while.”
Naomi rolled her eyes. “Okay mum.”
Gina smiled at Charlotte who smiled back, before leaving and shutting the door. Naomi sat down on the bed while Charlotte sat on the sofa, Naomi biting her lip slightly.
“I know that look, Naomi.” Charlotte said, crossing her legs where she sat. “What’s on your mind? You used to do that look all the time when we were little and you were guilty of something!”
Naomi and Charlotte giggled. “No I fucking didn’t!” Naomi said, in an indignant tone of voice. Charlotte raised an eyebrow and Naomi, who sighed and lay back on the bed.
“Okay, fine. God.” Naomi said, resting her arms on her face. “Well…say that - well, I met someone…”
Charlotte squealed and jumped up. “Ooh finally! Yay! Who is he? What’s his name and does he have any fit brothers?”
Naomi laughed nervously and sat up. “Well, that’s the thing…’he’ is a ‘she’.”
Charlotte’s eyes widened slightly with shock, before she smiled at Naomi. “No WAY. Who would have thought it, eh! Our Naomi into girls!”
Naomi blinked a couple of times at Charlotte. “What so…you’re not bothered by it?”
Charlotte scoffed. “Naomi, you’re my sister, you daft bint. If you’re happy then I’m happy. Besides, I doubt you could get any more open minded than our mother.”
Naomi laughed. “Yeah, I guess not.”
“ What’s her name then?” Charlotte said, taking her jacket off and enjoying the breeze coming through Naomi’s window.
“Emily.” Naomi said, smiling to herself as she thought of her. “She’s rather beautiful, actually.”
Charlotte smiled at her sister. “I’m glad you’ve found someone you want to let in, Naomi. It’s no fun shutting the world out for too long, you know.”
Naomi nodded slowly. “Yeah. And Emily has helped me see that.”
Charlotte smiled happily at her sister. Naomi looked up from her lap and looked at Charlotte, anxiety slightly in her expression.
“ There’s one small flaw, though…”
Charlotte’s smile faded slightly. “What’s that?”
“She’s a Fitch.”

“What?!” Charlotte said, genuinely shocked this time. “Are you fucking joking me? All of the bloody women in fucking Bristol Naomi, and you pick a Fitch?!”
Naomi put her face in her hands. “I know! Augh, fuck’s sake… I can’t explain it though, I was so hostile towards her at first…but I don’t know, there was just something about her. Something I couldn’t resist and I didn’t want to…and to be honest, it’s not fair that mum forbids us to have anything to do with the Fitches just because she has a fucking vendetta with her mother.”
Charlotte breathed out the shock from her lungs. “Well…fucking hell, Naomi. I didn’t see that coming.”
“Neither did I.” Naomi added honestly. It was true, the last thing she expected was to fall for another girl, let alone a member from the family her family were supposed to oppose. “She came out to the whole school for me the other week at prom, Charlotte. In front of her sister and everything.”
Charlotte laughed, exasperated. “Fucking hell, Katie Fitch?!”
Naomi began to laugh. “The fucking look on Katie’s face afterwards was priceless. I loved it.”
Both the girls began to laugh at the thought of how irritated Katie’s facial expression was when Emily told her where to stick it.
“I wish I’d come home earlier now!” Charlotte said, between laughs.

Always - Chapter 7

the last chapter of this fic i think! thank you all sooo much for reading, i will have a new one up and running POSSIBLY by tomorrow, if i have time...if not then it'll be friday! love you all!

Back in the hospital room, Naomi was sat at Emily’s bedside, wrapping both of her hands around Emily’s hand. Thomas was sat in the corner looking anxiously at her from a chair. JJ was pacing up and down and Pandora was sat on the floor underneath the window. The room was a dull shade of mint green, plastic plants in the corners to try and add to the cheap décor. Unsurprisingly enough, it wasn’t really comforting to anybody.
“Where’s Freddie?” JJ said, looking round.
“He followed Katie.” Pandora said quietly. All of this was so much to take in for her, so god knows how Naomi felt. She sat there looking desperately at Emily, almost pleading with her eyes to wake her up.
“Fuck knows why.” Naomi said bluntly.
Naomi felt Emily’s fingers begin to twitch between her hands. She gasped, and everyone began to jump up, as JJ ran for a doctor.
“Oh my God!” Naomi said excitedly, as Emily’s eyes began to flicker. “Emily? Emily, can you  hear me?”
Emily’s eyes were still adjusting to the light, but she recognized the platinum blonde hair and the shocked face that were standing over her. “N…Naomi? Is that…?”
“Yes!” Naomi said, overjoyed. “Oh my god Emily, I thought I’d lost you!”
“You’d…” Emily began, and then closed her eyes and sighed weakly. “You’d never lose me.”
Naomi hugged Emily as tight as she could, minding not to touch her leg. Emily smiled weakly, letting her head flop onto Naomi’s shoulder as she tried to hug her tightly back. She put her hands on Naomi’s shoulders, looking around the room she was in. Thomas and Pandora were standing with beaming smiles on their faces.
“Am I in hospital?”
Naomi nodded. “You have been for the past two days, in a coma. You worried us all fucking sick!”
Emily’s eyes grew wide with shock. She looked underneath the covers at her leg to see a bandage around it, and then looked back up at Naomi. Naomi could just tell, just by looking in her eyes, that Emily was remembering everything that happened on the Friday of Karen’s gig.
“Katie…Katie did…” she said, trying to understand how her own sister could do this to her. She began to choke up because of how overwhelming it was.
“Emily, please don’t cry.” Thomas said reassuringly. “It will do you no good at all to be set back any more.”
Emily nodded, tears streaming down her cheeks as she held out her arms for Naomi to give her another long, and needed, hug.
“It will be okay Emily. I promise.” Naomi said, hugging Emily tightly. “I promise.”

Effy turned up at the hospital, completely out of breath and staggering through the automatic doors, pushing herself up by her hands resting on her knees.
“Fucking hell.”
She had ran all the way there after getting a text from Naomi not 10 minutes ago, only just managing to escape Anthea’s needy clutches to try and make her daughter happy again. She went to instinctively light up a fag despite her out of breath-ness, but then realized it was a hospital before rolling her eyes and slipping them casually into her leather jacket again. She looked up at the signs above the reception desk for the A&E wing, and before taking in a deep breath, sprinted down the corridor. She was determined to make Emily believe that she really DID care about her, no matter what happened between herself and Katie.
She looked down at the text, telling her what room number Emily was in.
“Room 45.” She said aloud, memorizing to herself. She looked up at the pastel coloured doors, and she was at the very start, Room 1. She looked down quite a daunting corridor of bright white lights stuck to the ceiling, men in green drawstring surgery suits coming out and talking to distraught families. The whole environment was depressing, thought Effy. But none the less she walked down the corridor at a brisk pace to find Emily’s room.
Finally, she arrived at the room, but the blinds were closed so nobody could see out. Effy took a deep breath once again, before knocking on the door.
“Effy!” Naomi said, letting her in. Emily scoffed in her bed as she folded her arms and looked out of the window.
“What do you want?”
Effy looked at Emily until Emily turned back to face her.
“I’m sorry, Emily. What happened with me and Katie was never anything personal. She was hitting me and spitting on me, I didn’t know how else to stop her. Especially drugged up in the middle of a wood – which admittedly, was my fault. But I’m here because I care about you, not to grovel. So either get over it or don’t, I don’t care, but I care about you. Ok?”
Emily sat there speechless, considering Effy had just basically told her straight. Emily nodded at the seat next to Effy.
“Sit down, if you like.”
Effy half smiled as she sat down in a chair next to Naomi. They all fell silent as they heard running down the corridor – all of them praying it wasn’t-
“Emily, you’re awake! Thank fuck!” Katie squealed, Freddie behind her, putting his face in his hands. Katie looked at Emily, and never had she seen her sister more angry. Emily’s eyes were scowling at Katie, warning her silently to back off.
“Yeah.” Emily said, irritated. Katie sighed painfully and sat down on a chair, looking over to see Effy, who quickly winked at Katie. Katie looked away out of the window, Freddie sighing and looking at Effy. Naomi and Emily were looking at each other, as were Pandora and Thomas. All the couples were looking upon each other, until Katie said, ridiculously;

“So, what are we doing tomorrow?”

Always - Chapter 6

you find out who gets shot! :O
hope you enjoy, thank you alll sooo much for the lovely comments on the last entry :)<3

“Please wake up…”

Freddie, JJ, Thomas and Pandora walked in slowly, Freddie holding a bunch of flowers and all of them looking horrified at the girl that lay before them on the hospital bed. “How is she?”
“They managed to remove the bullet from her leg, but she’s lost a lot of blood. They said that if Katie had shot her even just 10 centimetres up from where the bullet went in, she would have died.”
Freddie sighed sorrowfully. “Fucking hell, I can’t believe this. How could Katie be so stupid?”
“Fuck knows. We knew she was planning something, though. I can’t believe I didn’t do more to stop her when I was there.”
Pandora began to fill up as the heart monitor’s beeps echoed in her ears. It was too much for her to bear almost, like being back in hospital when Effy had hit Katie over the head with a rock. That day she lost her best friend and her boyfriend. “She’s going to be okay though, isn’t she?”
“They do not know much yet, Pandora.” Thomas said, walking over slowly and wrapping his arms around Pandora who began to cry. “Ssh, it will all be okay though, I am certain. That girl is a fighter.”
Then a familiar face showed herself at the hospital door. Katie, looking a complete trainwreck. She looked distraught, shocked, and absolutely in total disbelief.

Disbelief that the reason Emily was laying in a hospital bed in a coma was all her fault.

Naomi looked up at the entrance and saw red the second she saw Katie. She leapt up from her chair, grabbed Katie by the front of her shirt and shoved her very, very hard into the wall of the corridor outside.
“How could you be so fucking selfish, you fucking stupid, stupid bitch!” Naomi screamed at her, Katie looking away in fright and despair. Naomi grabbed Katie’s face and made her look at her.
“I’m sorry!” Katie cried. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I don’t know what I was doing! I only took the gun to scare you away from Emily, I never meant for anyone to get hurt! Especially not my own sister!”
Naomi was still livid, and violent. Thomas, Freddie, JJ and Pandora watched from inside the hospital room, watching Naomi slam Katie into the corridor wall again.
“All you had to do was just fucking accept that Emily wants to break free from your control! I never said you had to like me, Katie, because I fucking don’t like you – but jesus, whether taking a gun to come up and scare us was intended to hurt us or not, you’re such a fucking psycho!”
Doctors and nurses began to come out and try and see where the source of the yelling and the crying was coming from. A man in a white coat rushed down the corridor to try and separate the two of them, subtly.
“Is everything okay here?” He said, watching as Naomi and Katie were now staring at each other hatefully. Naomi shook her head and let go of Katie’s shirt.
“We’re done here.”
The doctor looked at Katie, who nodded for him to go. Katie straightened herself up while Naomi wiped her eyes fiercly, as tears had been building up the whole time she was going mad at Katie.
“I fucking swear to God Katie,” Naomi said, threateningly, “if she dies, I will kill you.”
Katie and Naomi’s eyes were still fixed on one another’s, until Naomi turned away and walked back into the hospital room, slamming the door shut. Katie couldn’t do anything but stay looking through the hospital room’s window at her sister. At her sister Emily, the other half of her; who looked so pale, so lifeless. And it was all her fault.

Almost too much to bear, she started running down the corridor in tears, but before she knew it Freddie was running after her. “Katie! Katie, wait!”
She stopped, putting her head in her hands and turning round. Freddie hugged Katie, as she just sobbed in his arms.
“I’ll never forgive myself if she doesn’t wake up, Freddie.” She said, between sobs. “I never meant for anyone to get hurt. Least of all her. I’ll never forgive myself.”
Freddie could feel himself choking up, but instead of saying anything, he just rested his head on hers as he let her cry.
“Come on, let’s get you cleaned up.” He said, wiping a tear out of her eye, and taking her towards the girls toilets.

Always - Chapter 5
[info]mirrors_edge1
the drama is here early, due to popular demand! ;)
oooh enjoy!!

“This band is shit!” Naomi shouted over the loud noise coming from the stage. People were stood around them totally unenthused at the crap that was presented before them. Emily giggled.
“Tell me about it!” she said.
“I’m going outside for a fag.” Naomi said, making a sign to her lips to make sure Emily definitely knew where she was going. Emily nodded, she couldn’t stop Naomi going where she liked. She just didn’t want her going anywhere near Katie. Naomi smiled and walked off, pushing through people to get towards the fire exit, which lead out to a trashed, old beige-coloured room overlooking a beautiful night sky with all the city laid out before her from the window.  “Wow.” She said, as she walked in, in amazement. Surely this room was too good to just be a smoking room.
There was another couple of people in there also managing to get away with having a fag, and they smiled at Naomi as they finished their fags and left. Naomi lit up and stood looking out at the city, resting her head on the wall, just soaking everything in and trying to get to believe what she was going through in the space of two days. Almost lost in her thoughts, she felt a pair of hands come from behind her and wrap around her waist.
“I couldn’t be bothered to wait with those lot, even if I do hate you smoking.” A husky recognizable voice said from behind her. Naomi smiled and relaxed on Emily, leaning back into her embrace.
“Look at the view.”
Emily burrowed her chin more into Naomi’s shoulder, and kissed her neck. “It’s lovely.”
“Get the fuck off my sister, you fucking whore.” spat a venomous voice from behind them.
Both Naomi and Emily tore apart very quickly, turning round to face the other Fitch twin. But not only were they facing Katie. They were staring down the barrel of a gun.
Naomi was too stunned to say any words. Emily was shocked, before she realized what the noise was she heard earlier.
“That’s what you clicked in your pocket earlier, wasn’t it?” she said, choking up with tears. How could her sister be going THIS far to try and pull a gun stunt on Naomi or her? “Why are you doing this, Katie? Why can’t you just let me go like I have to you?”
“Move, Emily.” Katie said, calmly, still holding up a black hand gun. Was this really happening?
“No.” Emily said, defiantly. “I’m not moving.”
Naomi walked up infront of Emily, Emily began to panic, as Naomi would surely make things worse, but what could she do?
“Katie, don’t do this. Is it really worth throwing your whole life away just because you’re scared of losing control of someone? Emily loves you, no matter whether she’s with me or not. She’ll always love you.”
By this point, Emily was sobbing and so was Katie. Katie was almost too choked by tears to talk, but she struggled through them.
“But I don’t want her to be with a slag like you, Naomi!” Katie shouted, her trigger finger at the ready. Naomi’s eyes widened as she began to hold her hands up in panic, Emily cowering behind Naomi. Wishing she could do something more.
“Emily can be gay! She can be gay, I don’t care about that! But I have to choose! Katie has to choose!” She kept shouting. Before it was too late, Naomi and Emily ran up to Katie and started fighting over the gun, Katie’s hand in the air still holding it. There was a struggle, such a loud, strong struggle to get the gun. Katie shoved Naomi off who hit the floor hard, almost knocking her out – but she was determined to get back up and get that gun off Katie before something disastrous happened. Katie, Emily and Naomi were all fighting over the gun now, Katie and Emily screaming in each others’ faces to let go. To let go before-

Then there was the shot that rung in everybody’s ears.
